hey, I saw on the homepage that this was the place to ask for friends and I don't know where ANYONE from my GJ friends list went, I was on hiatus for a while so I lost everyone! I used to be ![[info]](http://www.scribbld.net/img/userinfo.gif) twotimer on there. I guess a little about me...I live at home right now and I commute to college, I'm a freshman. I am a history major, at least for now. I'm not sure what I want to do but I've always done well in history so I'm sticking with that for now.
I have a job at a local gym and I find that I'm there all the time, either working or working out! It's fun there, I love my co-workers.
I'm not sure what else to write but I'm a pretty enjoyable person so if you wanna add me, go ahead!

Yo. :D Just got an account today, and am in that weird space between wanting space to myself to rant about crap at leisure and wanting new friends.
I'm Saffron. I'm 17 and I hail from New York City. I'm a senior in high school, although I am crazy excited for college like you won't believe. I'm kind of a giant nerd in the traditional sense: I love facts and learning and solving algebra equations and finding derivatives. Despite my overwhelming desire to break away from Asian stereotypes, I'm a sucker for anime and manga and cute things from Japan. Cute clothes and pretty eye make-up make me a happy person. I absolutely adore House MD and Firefly and Neil Gaiman, especially the last.
I'm a terrible person to talk to online because I very easily get distracted by the shiny, although I'm pretty good with comments and long emails exchanged at four in the morning professing your/my/our undying love for the Libertines. I love reading and writing and words and literature; The Great Gatsby is the best novel in the entire world. Period. Joyce makes me so happy even if I can't make heads or tales of Ulysses. I'm currently reading Frankenstein (the 1818 edition) and am loving it.

PS: I'm also looking for people to role-play original characters with in a fantasy setting; I played D&D for the first time over the summer and had a LOT of fun in a role-play where I got to beat people up, but all the stats and rules for fighting were kind of driving me mad. For the record, I'm both a ditz and a spaz. I tend to ramble at lengths and go on tangents.
