Um, so I'm really sure why I'm posting here, other than the fact I am bored and would rather not be working atm.
I made this journal to keep track of some awesome PB makers, because yes, I am an avid role-player and am always looking for a game to play in (though the fact my grades are dropping may be a clue I need to not RP as much, but I really want/need a HP game!). But that is kinda boring and stalkerish? and I like making new friends :D
My favourite (spelt right, yo! I'm Canadian :D) fandoms are; Lost, Harry Potter and Star Wars. I also love Labyrinth, Veronica Mars, West Wing, Disney, musicals and vampires (in general).
I'm a second year college student, who has no idea what she wants to do with the rest of her life. I'm also turning twenty in two days which kind of scares me, but hey, que sera sera?
And that's about it. Because I am awful at these things...so I have no idea why I keep doing them :P
Also Family Force 5 is the best band EVER!

Well, even though i probably won't use this too frequently I don't see why it should stop me from meeting new folk.
Anyways... I'm Phil. Just your average, run-of-the-mill (great introduction i know) geek living in Rhode Island.
What do I do? Well, my days are mostly spent between video games, doing random crap on the computer, usually graphics or something, and spending time with my friends. Oh yeah, work and sleep, but that's kind of a given.
As far as the vidya gaems go, I play most of the "arcade" style genres the most. Fighters, shooters, music games...all good. I do enjoy a good RPG/strategy game once in awhile. If you didn't guess by the icon... I've been loyal to Nintendo since day one. By no means I am a fanboy though :P I am a lover of games, not companies.
Favorite game series include
-Touhou
-Super Robot Wars
-Megaman
-Phoenix Wright (slowly getting into this one)
-Castlevania
-Zelda
-Guilty Gear
I also play WoW, but not too too much. I know my way around though :p
I don't watch too much anime, but I like mecha stuff (G Gundam is, and always was awesome). Also Higurashi. I don't watch too much TV other than that, although I do enjoy watching adult swim sometimes... mostly Venture Brothers (the only show that can pull off 80's references and not be overly obnoxious imo) Sealab, and Metalpocalypse. I'm a big animation dork, yeah. :p
Music-wise.... almost anything is good, I like songs from almost every genre. My favorite artists would have to be Dream Theater, Daft Punk, and Venetian Snares though.
I'm a pretty quiet guy, my updates are often brief unless my days are really eventful or something out of the ordinary happens. I don't comment too often, though. If I can't think of anything that's not a generic journal compliment I usually don't post it (although sometimes I do anyways :P)

These things are always so hard to start, but here it goes... Everyone calls me Alex or Alexia, which is short for Alexandra. I'm 20 years old, waiting and counting down to my birthday which is on June 25th! I live in San Diego, CA, and I'm married to a US Marine. I'm not one of those girls who is overly obsessed with their significant others, and my updates do not always consist of him. My best friend lives 235 miles away, so I'll write about her from time to time. I work full time, and intend to go back to school in the fall to major in journalism. I live my life in the moment; I don't believe in making plans. I'm the type of girl who will try ANYTHING at least once. If this sounds like your cup of tea, please, feel free to add me.
