my name is kita and i've been through a lot. i'm seventeen years old, love my life, and i'm just now figuring out who i am. i used to act like i was so sure of who i was, almost like i was confident, but the truth is it took losing my mother and grandfather within six months of each other for me to really open my eyes and see what life is all about. i finally started doing things that i wanted to, not just because my friends thought it was cool. i stopped listening to music that i had once found enjoyable, which led me to discover the band that helped me through the hardest times of my life. i won't say that avenged sevenfold saved my life, but i will say that because of their lyrics i am a better person. sometimes i wonder how different my life would be if i hadn't started listening to them, and i figure that i wouldn't be who i am today.
i like to read. there's no way i could say all my favorite authors, because you'd be here all day trying to get to the end of a never-ending list. any kind of book will make me content, and i can read for hours upon hours at a time. my record is reading a nine hundred page book in seven hours. yeah, i don't even know how i accomplished that. there's a lot more about me, but this entry is already pretty long and i bet you're tired of reading, so i'll just say it like i mean it.
if you add me, i'm not going to guarantee that i'm going to comment on all of your entries, because i haven't been good at that in the past, but i will make sure to comment as much as i possibly can. if you add me, i'm not going to sugarcoat this: i curse a lot, i do complain, and my life is full of drama, but i'll make sure that my posts are worth your time because i wouldn't want you to waste a few minutes on something that wouldn't interest you at all. if you add me, i promise that i will be the best friend i can be. i do not judge, i do not discriminate, and i do not take anything for granted. add me and you won't regret it. <3

 So, my name's Emily, I'm sixteen years old, and I live in Florida. I'm generally an easy-going and optimistic person. I love helping my friends whenever I can. I'm nicest before you know me, but I'm not a bitch unless you really piss me off. If interests are a must-know, I like almost any and all forms of music, but my favorite band is Atreyu. My favorite TV shows are Law & Order: SVU, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, and Degrassi (both new and old, though the old ones are always better). My favorite movies include, but aren't limited to Cry-Baby, Rocky Horror, and Juno.
That's me in a nutshell. I'm always open to questions :]
