Better late than never. [03 Oct 2008|11:33pm] amaz_za_zing Thirteen years to the day after he was acquitted of killing his wife and her friend, O.J. Simpson is finally paying for one of his crimes. Yes, I know this isn’t take two of the Nicole Brown Simpson/ Ron Goldman trial, but you can’t help but feel a wave of relief that he’s finally going to be pay for one of his crimes and that – albeit delayed – justice has finally been served. I know there’s been a lot of talk about fairness, about the jury selection (nine women, three men; all white), but I feel so proud of our country's justice system right now. I just can’t wait for sentencing on Dec. 5. Here’s hoping he never sees the free world again. It’s stunning that someone who literally got away with murder would be so cocky and so arrogant as to risk going to jail by attempting to rob someone at gun point. That murder trial was such a hellish time in this city - and country - and I'm just so happy to see him having to face the repercussions of his actions. post comment

[23 Apr 2008|11:09am] pocahontas I might go out to the club again this weekend, but a different club. Me and Moses's friend Dee Dee owns a PR company here in Pittsburgh called 3DSBURGH and she's having like a launch party or something for some music artists and whatnot this Saturday and of course she invited us so I think we'll go to that. It should be fun. I invited Terri also so hopefully she's able to come! Zee texted me yesterday when I was out for lunch and she said "Phoenix's bday party 3-8 this Saturday". Phoenix is her daughter and I think she's turning 4 but I have no idea where the party is gonna be at? She wants us to go so we can bring Moses's nephew Tyler like we did last year. So I texted Zee like "well,where's it gonna be at" and she never responded. I asked her twice. What a dumb ass. So whatever....after how bitchy she was on Saturday I honestly don't even want to be bothered but since it's for Phoenix I might go. It might be a game time decision lol. My birthday is coming up and I told Moses that I just want to pick out a couple cute summer outfits that I can wear to work. Our dress code is pretty casual for the most part we just can't wear tennis shoes and hoodies. No big deal. I think Niulus and I are going to get our tattoos this Saturday,in the morning. Edit: I'm really not that big, guys, really! lol, my jacket is from Canada (and yes, I was dumb enough to wear it to a game vs a Canada team, shut up), and the inside of it, as you can see, is wear and all pouffy like for warmth.
