Japanorama was a series done by the BBC.. I don't know if any of you have seen this but this is their segmant on Dollfie :D I found it really interesting, especially the part with the ceremony at Volks.

Guh I don't have any pictures to share ;-; but my Bobobie Sprite should be here this week! *cheer* ;D Then next pay day Greg said I could buy a lati white X3 fufufu~ So my army continues to grow steadily *plots*

Hey guys~ Just got Asta a few days ago and was able to take some decent pics of her. She is from Muse doll and was an LE. I was lucky enough to grab her from DOA. Excuse the weird lighting my room is on the off side of the house so I barely get any lighting and when the suns going down it makes for some interesting effects...like the blue there x3 So I brightened them just a tad so that's why they look funny. Anywho Here's Asta and theres some of my others too <3

So for the first time in forever we've had reasonably good weather on a weekend! This of course meant outdoor dollie pictures :D So my fiance and I packed them all up carefully and hopped on our bikes. :lol:

Of course we took them to the playground. :wink:

Mackenzie is our newest girl and first dal! *yay* She seems a bit lost in this big world though.

I bought her original Panda wig too... but gosh :| I put my Haute NY wig on her and it had to stay!

- My friend Chrislea showed me a picture of one about five years ago. I've gone downhill since.
Which company(ies) do you like?
- It depends on the headmold of the doll itself. I'm doomed if Souldoll keeps making realistic looking Koreans though.

- I don't do OCs.
Have you been to any cons, meet-ups?
- About a billion. I don't like bringing my dolls to cons much though because they're a hassle to carry when you're in costume.

....kind of quiet on the western front. -.o So here I am, guise! :o

So just a quick refresher course.

Ajisai Mitsurugi. Everyone just calls him Mitsu anyway. He's a teenage prodigy, no doubt. I'd say he needs to let his hair down every once in awhile, but...well, it ain't pretty. ;3

Morbid. Probably slightly insane. Clumsy, fun-loving, and completely irrational. Oh, and did I mention he's a zombie? ...he's a zombie. Well, in a WAY. The basics are that he died and Mitsu brought him back to life; but his brain was pretty much wiped. But he makes for a good time. :D;

Niu Vanille. Gentle, delicate, and childlike. She showed up on the doorstep one afternoon, and Mitsu pretty much adopted her as his sister.

...so yes.

Mitsu and Niu are pretty much brother and sister.

While Morbid and Niu are best friends.

Morbid and Mitsu, on the other hand...

...well, you get the picture.

Oh, and did I mention that Niu is a rabid yaoi fangirl?

What a place.

...Morbid and Niu's faceups are TERRIFYING. :D; But hey, you do get to see Niu with her new wig, too. It WAS Mitsu's, but...eh, it wasn't AWESOME on him.

Why you're interesting in dolls? Because they don't creep me out. XD I'm very weird with dolls, they have to be a certain way or else it's like chucky all over again for me. But when I saw Sen and other BJD's I knew they were differn't cause they didn't freak me out. They're more like people than most dolls.
Do you have any? I own two SD size dolls and one MSD sized Doll, Sen, Selene, And Conrad.
Did someone get you into dolls? Nope, I got myself into it by stumbling onto Luts totally on accident, I don't even remember how I found the site. But After poking around and spotting Sen (Miyu) I was hooked instnantly and fell in love.
Which company(ies) do you like? Luts, Dollzone, Elfdoll, DOD, Dollmore, Soom, Iplehouse, Dolkot.
Is your doll an original character, not original, other? All of mine are based off of Original characters that are all from my insane mind x3 I plan though to make one Character Tribute doll if I get around to it of Terra Brandford from FFVI cause i'm just that nerdy. x3

My Very first little one, Sen. I got her before I even had a job. XD I did chorse and scraped every little bit of money I got. These are pics of her in her old outfit that Selene is now wearing temperarily. She's in her new outfit on the bottom pic. She's gorgeous and I love her and I will always remember the feeling I had when I first saw her.

My second little one, Conrad. He was pre-ordered at Yaoi Con 07. This is the only good picture of him I have. My camera does not like his skin tone. :x But he's adorable for a necromancer x3

Why you're interesting in dolls? Honestly? I have no earthly idea. I was never a doll person as a kid, so it's all very strange to me.
Do you have any? With my tax refund I might end up getting my first BJD. Until then, I have three Pullip dolls, by Jun Planning. More about them under the cut.

He's a Namu, which explains why his facemold is so drastically different from Mitsu's. Namu were discontinued in '05 and replaced by Taeyang. I got Morbid around Halloween 06; he was second hand. He's kind of beat up now, but since he was my first I'll probably always be partial to him.

Like I said above, Mitsu is a Taeyang. I got him for my birthday from my parents. I don't really like people buying my dolls for me, but Butler was the first Taeyang that I fell in love with. He's absolutely gorgeous in person. I'm in LOVE.

Niu is a Pullip. Taeyang and Namu's female counterpart. I got Niu from my grandparents for Christmas. I didn't really WANT girl dolls, but I've fallen for Niu, too. She recently had her 'lipstick' and lower eyelashes removed, as well as eyebrows added. Her wig is the softest thing EVER. ...EVER.

Welcome to dollsnmore I wanted something that was a little more open than just ball joint dolls since I have friends who have more than just that. Everyone is welcome here. I thought this would be a good way to meet other doll lovers & to hopefully make friends & connections. I have these next questions posted up in the BIO.

Why you're interesting in dolls? I've been interested in them for a few years now, but I couldn't bring myself to get one because of their price. Then BishonenHouse, aka, Donn was at Otakon 2006 & he had been on my deviantART for a few months, well needless to say he told me I could pay in installments, Otakon 2007 I owned my first doll, Muerte, aka Muerdoll. Photos will be behind the cut. After that I haven't really looked back, my next target was a Dollmore Model by the name of Bonnie LE30, renamed Tenshidoll, in a little over a month I had boughten her & in late Nov 2007, actually it was the day before Thanksgiving, she arrived at my house from Korea. This is probably as far as I can go for most of this year, but I do have quite a long list in waiting. I love the fact that they have so many expressions & some are very photogenic, that doesn't even touch how customizable they are.

Do you have any? 2, Muerdoll (BishonenHouse), Tenshidoll (Bonnie LE30)

Did someone get you into dolls? Not techinically, I know some friends that had them, but offically I'd say I got myself hooked.

Which company(ies) do you like? Dollmore is an accent company to work with & they have lots of wonderful dolls & clothings & extras, I haven't been exposed to too much, though I do have a couple of clothing maker friends that I would recommend if they were on scrib.

Is your doll an original character, not original, other? The dolls I have now & most of the ones I hope to some day have are based off of original characters. Tenshidoll is based off the girl in my icon. KuroiTenshi.

Have you been to any cons, meet-ups? I've been to many a con, but only Yaoicon 2007 & Ohayocon 2008 for meet-ups. I hope to have one in my area later this year.

Are you planning to go to any cons, meet-ups? As many as I can get to. If you're in the Northwest OH area let me know, we work on a meet-up.
