week before/after period?

So I forget where I read or heard this, but is it true that the week after your period is the week when you're like, most likely to get pregnant? Something like that. Has anybody else heard this?

	since periods usually occur on a 28-day cycle, you ovulate on the 14th day. since most people don't have a cycle that is EXACTLY 28 days, the exact day that you are ovulating is hard to pinpoint. its usually about 2 weeks after your last period though, like the person above me said. 	If you count two weeks from day one of bleeding that is the day you are most fertile. You are least likely to get pregnant when you are on your period. But that is true for dogs. (Reply to this)

	Actually, you can get pregnant anytime. There are times when they can tell when the egg is in the uterus, like say, there are charts that can tell you when the egg is at prime position to be fertilized. But a girl can get pregnant, before, after, during, and anytime in between her period. There's really no 'most likely' because its the same likeliness all around. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Actually that's opposite, the 7-10 days after your period, it's pretty damn difficult to get pregnant. First time, the condom broke and I called my doctor hysterically crying. He said it was almost impossible to become pregnant in that time period and that I would be fine (and I was lol). (Reply to this)
