the diamond you won't find a girl flashier than The Diamond. she's all about money, style, and designer everything. that's not to say she's shallow, she just loves the finer things in life. actually she's quite the charitable little soul. after all, she's the one who gave The Swan her big make-over. now if she could just beat out her rival, The Butterfly, for best dressed. |

the sapphire if you want someone to really bear your soul to then The Sapphire is your girl. calm, collected, and empathetic, she's good at reading people and understanding them. that's one of the reasons she's best friends with The Queen, much to the annoyance of her sister, The Violet. the only person who seems able to disturb her serenity is The Larkspur, whom she definitely does not find funny. |

the topaz when OK Go sang the song "Do What You Want", they were talking to The Topaz and she listened. she's spontaneous, fickle, and loves being outside the norm. with a rebellious streak a mile long, it's no wonder she gets along so well with The Tigerlily. what does come as a shock is that she's related to The Mouse. |

the peridot there are girls who love to burn money, but The Peridot prefers to make it. her favorite source of income is starting betting pools on anything from school sports to other people's personal issues---such as how long it'll take her twin sister, The Garnet, to move on to her next crush. she's even been known, on occasion, to collaborate with The Poppy. |

the pearl although not as glamorous as the other members of her caste, The Pearl has a simple sort of charm that comes from how down to earth she is. she can sometimes be a stick-in-the-mud and is the voice of reason to her more reckless peers. she often plays peace-keeper, particularly between The Princess and The Tigerlily and The Amethyst and The Fox. |
