Lucas Demetri Halkais born on March 31st, 1989 making him 20 going on 21. Born to Demetri Halkais and Elizabeth Halkais, two Greece natives who immigrated to the U.S. about the same time they found out they were going to be parents. Although he is full Greek and his parents are natives, he can't speak their language to save his life. At times there's even a bit of a language barrier between him and his parents- despite them living here for so many years. However, most of the time he can understand what he's hearing- usually it's the bad words that he picks up on. When Lucas was born the three lived in New York city, but he has absolutely no recollection of life there since they relocated to Longport when he was just one. Since Lucas has been born and raised in Longport, he hates it. He's never actually lived anywhere else- unless you count visiting Greece for weeks at a time. Even if his feet seem to be anchored in New Jersey, he doesn't hesitate to travel all along the east coast either just for fun, or for shows he wants to go to. Against his parent's wishes he doesn't attend college but he certainly has thought about it. In high school he remained on the honor roll all four years and he's not a stupid kid by any means, school just wasn't for him. As far back as he can remember, he' always been a person for music rather than books. He may not be musically talented when it comes to actually playing instruments (except for a little piano) but he has become rather decent and taking songs and remixing them. He could easily pass hours upon hours just messing around with garageband on his mac. Currents lives in an apartment with his dog, who he affectionately named Piglet. He treats his dog as if he's a human baby and tends to spoil him, which is a little pathetic he's aware. He's not big on parties, but he does smoke often and drinks when or if it happens to be around. When he does go out, he's usually very social and the life of the party but he doesn't make it a routine thing. Very genuine and loyal personality, but he'll be the first person to snap and put you back into place if you cross a line not to be crossed. Although he can express himself well, he doesn't always do so. He has a hard time opening up to people due to part of his past but he tries his best to just push that aside. Can't go a minute without his phone in hand. Whether he's on aim or texting he just can't seem to get enough, very apparently he had fallen victim to the computer generation. Works in a record shop that sells mostly vintage records and vinyls. He loves his job and he's also a music consulter, even if some people don't necessarily consider it to be a 'real' job.
