Suzanne Milichek (pronounced 'mill-eh-check') had never planned for her life to turn out the way it did. Growing up in a small town in Ohio she had destined herself for an extraordinary life. She didn't know doing what or where but she knew that her life was going to be anything but normal. Moving to Philadelphia after accepting an academic scholarship to a university there, Suzanne created a life for herself far from her hometown. After graduation she took up a secretarial job to begin paying off her college loans and hoped to get her foot in the door to use her business degree. It was here that she met Enrique Moreno. He was a few years older, handsome, eccentric and her boss. The two hit it off almost immediately becoming fast friends and soon enough even more than that. Suzanne knew all about his home situation (married with four daughters to a woman who didn't want to stay with him anymore) and like any woman in love with a man, would do about anything to make him hers. Soon enough the affair began and a few months later Suzanne became pregnant. This had never been in her plans. In love with a married man, pregnant and unwed.

Lucille (whom she decided would be called Luci) Bennett was born nine months later on August 1, 1988 in a hospital in Philadelphia. Her mother, who had no intentions of telling her own family (which she had outcasted herself from at the news of her own pregnancy) the joyous news of a healthy and happy baby girl, was all alone in the delivery room that night. Scared to death and completely clueless about how to raise a child on her own. With Enrique in mind, she quickly decided to move with her new baby to Longport, New Jersey. It was here she could be closer to him and their "relationship" could continue on. At least, that is how Suzie planned it in her head but it didn't quite work out that way. When Enrique showed no attempt to leave his wife, she decided that raising this baby without a father and on her own was the only way to do it and promptly broke off the relationship despite her feelings for him.

The years seemed to pass swiftly in Suzie's eyes and soon enough Luci had grown into a rather rambunctious toddler. She was her mother's pride and joy and the only thing that mattered to her. Her new job paid the bills and gave her plenty of time to spend with her daughter. The bond between the two of them was stronger than most considering they were all each other had. The little girl seemed happy enough but she knew that soon enough Luci would be asking questions that she would rather leave unanswered. Enrique had never been in the picture when it came to Luci's life and he had never once set eyes on his daughter. Suzie had planned on keeping it that way but Fate had other ideas.

Enrolling Luci into preschool, Suzie had no idea that Enrique and his wife had also decided to enroll their youngest son Ricky into the same one. It was here after a few weeks that a chance encounter after Ricky's mother couldn't pick her son up from school that Enrique and Suzie met for the first time in five years. With Luci's hand in hers as they walked from the building it was the first time that he had set eyes upon his illegitimate daughter. She had his eyes, of that anyone could be certain, as well as his nose and chin but Luci, was completely unaware as any five year old could and would be. Upon seeing each other again Suzanne and Enrique slowly began to fall back into what once was.

It wasn't until Enrique's wife managed to see Luci and Suzie at one of Ricky's school pageants and all the secrets of her husband's past came out. Things didn't end well and soon his wife had decided to leave him and go back to Spain. Caught in the middle of her feelings for him and what was best for her daughter, Suzie had decided to keep her distance from him for the time being. But as time passed and the two of them became closer and it wasn't until Luci was old enough that she finally was told the truth about the situation and how things came to be. Once Ricky's mother signed the divorce papers years later, her mother and his father finally tied the knot, making Luci and her mother an official part of the family. Things had never been better for her and finally having a father was something she had always hoped for. She and Ricky became just as close as any full siblings would or could have been, him becoming one of the best friends she could ever have.

Luci hit a rough spot once puberty hit causing her once outgoing and rambunctious nature to slip inward and instead become the shy and quiet girl that most people who did not know her well came to know her by. She rarely partied and instead continued to make gymnastics (which she had been doing since the age of three) her top priority. She managed to go to New York City to a gymnastics workshop but when things didn't work out how she wanted she headed back home to Longport to pick up the life she had left behind the year prior. Rekindling old friendships was difficult at first but with the help of her brother and close friends it wasn't long before she was slowly becoming herself again.

A complete stranger to the dating game, Luci had never been very good at communicating with members of the opposite sex that she hadn't know for more than a few years. Never having a boyfriend (or even really having any interest in boys) throughout high school, she never really knew how it worked. Still, upon returning home she managed to rekindle her friendship with Nicky Borman. He had been her childhood crush, the first boy she had ever kissed and one of her closest friends growing up. The two began dating in March of 2008 and even though it's her first and only relationship to date she's as happy as ever and feels as if she's found the love of her life.
