• Leigh Conway, born October 30th 1988, originally hails from Los Angeles, California. She moved to Longport with her mother when she was eleven years old.

• Leigh was only two years old when her parents divorced. She never really cared that she'd grown up without a father because she had her older brother, Holden, to rely on.

• Since she always had her brother there to bail her out of all of the tough situations in her life, she lacks responsibility in a major way.

• Despite often coming off as brash and unapologetic, she's actually a very sweet girl if she gives you the chance to get to know her.

• She loves to experiment on her hair and makeup, and sometimes thinks she'd like to become a beautician. She knows she'd be good, but she lacks the patience to go to school for it.

• Leigh had a hard time focusing in school, and often cut classes to do other things.

• At thirteen, she got grounded for an entire month for cutting classes and disappearing for several days to travel to shows her brother's band was playing.

• At sixteen, she began the first and only real relationship she's ever been in. Her mother did not approve of the boy, since he was considerably older than her, and the topic always turned into an argument. Being home became too stressful, so she rarely ever was.

• At seventeen, Leigh dropped out of high school (much to her mother's dismay) and left her home to live with her boyfriend. They insisted they were in love and planned to get married some day.

• In the time they were together, her boyfriend taught her to play the guitar, bass and drums (mildly well) and now she toys with the idea of starting a band Leigh has recently joined the band Gorgeous Doom and the Freedom. Gorgeous Doom and the Freedom has sadly disbanded.

• The relationship was tumultuous at best, filled with break-ups and make-ups, and a few months ago she finally threw in the towel and moved in with her brother.

• It drives her crazy that her brother is constantly hitting on her friends. It is her goal in life to find him a nice girl to settle down with, so he'll leave everyone she knows alone.

• She hates when she brings a friend home only to find her sighing dreamily over her brother, so she tries to avoid bringing friends over when he's around.

• She still casually dates, but the only men in her life now are her brother, and the cat she'd gotten with her boyfriend, Bunny. No one else matters.

• Despite their ups and downs, Leigh and her mother still get along and talk regularly.

• Leigh's worst habits are excessive drinking, the occasional dip into drugs (pot and a few more serious things), and most recently, a complete fascination with all things (and people) creepy.

• She loves music and movies, and often randomly quotes either in conversation.

• Her favorite movies include most things Disney, and Silence of the Lambs - which she quotes often.

• She listens to bands from just about every genre imaginable and could never pick just one as her favorite - but she has no problem telling you what music she thinks sucks.

U p d a t e d F a c t s :

• Leigh has been working at the local Thrift Shop since September of 2007. She absolutely loves it there and refuses to leave, despite the fact that she also has a second job. Her shifts at the thrift store usually only total in about 16 hours a week, as short 4 hour closing shifts scattered randomly throughout the week. She usually spends her time sitting behind the register, talking to people on her Sidekick.

• Over the Christmas Season, she took up her first Second Job at Abercrombie & Fitch. She absolutely hated how they made her change everything about herself, and was convinced they only hired her to fill their "freak" quota to avoid discrimination lawsuits. She quit at the end of December, and quickly picked up a job at a different store.

• She currently spends most of her work-time at Hot Topic, where she works the opening shifts, five to six days a week from 8 am to 2 pm so she can have the rest of the day to herself. She is amused by the mall goths in a sick, sick way.

• In October of 2007, Leigh took the biggest step she'd taken in her life, moving out of her brother's place to live with roommates. After a long string of roommates not working out and subsequently leaving, she decided to move in with one of her closest friends, Kit Fischer and his family, along with Toby Appleton at the beginning of 2008.

• It was with her last roommates, Reese Prescott, and Patrick Furst that, after a very short-lived relationship with Reese that left Leigh feeling pretty worthless and depressed, she decided she was completely done trying to find someone to make her happy. Instead, she now claims celibacy.

• In mid-February, Leigh left her job at the thrift store and started working at Hot Topic full time, only to be fired a few days later when a drug and alcohol induced depression (due to the fact that one of her best friends left town) caused her not to show up for work for several days in a row. She was later re-hired, and is now in the process of being promoted.

• After realizing what a bad effect the drugs she was taking were having on her, she decided to quit and is still dealing with the effects that it is causing on her body and mentality.

• Leigh moved out of Kit Fischer's home, and into her best friend Ashley Scranton's apartment at the end of February.

• On April 9th, Leigh began dating Kit Fischer. She had a crush on him for quite a long time. One month later, they broke up.

• At the beginning of May, she moved in with Kit's next door neighbor, Kemper Graham, and they proceeded to have one of the most complicated on-again-off-again type non-relationships she'd ever experienced in her life. She decided she'd never date him, but she also never left him.

• The two were almost married on Saturday, July 12th in Atlantic City.

• Leigh discovered that she was pregnant at the end of the year. She is due on July 6th, 2009.

•At the end of 2008, Kemper asked Leigh to move to Burbank, California with him, so that he could be nearer to his older sister. Since she felt she had no reason to stay in New Jersey, she accepted.

• At the end of March, Leigh and Kemper made their way back to the east coast when he was offered the chance to open up his own shop in New York City. He currently only restores vintage cars and is making plenty of money to support them. While he insists Leigh leave her job to ensure a safe, healthy pregnancy, she is working as an assistant manager at an Urban Outfitters in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
