Biography: With parents like Nolan Ward and Janey Greene, it was entirely undoubted that their daughter would follow in their footsteps. Born Eden Zoë Ward on September 7th, 1985 in Seattle, she began her life as understated as possible, shying away from the limelight; it wasn’t until she turned fourteen did she express an interest in breaking into the high-profile Hollywood life – as a model. Having been scouted by a previously unknown scout, Eden accepted the proposal all the same, and never looked back. Though she made waves in the modeling world, and was tapped to be the face of a handful of leading campaigns, Eden’s interest in modeling was beginning to already wane. She was deemed too short for catwalks only by a hair, and though she easily found notable catalog work, she was disenchanted by the idea of this being in her career. Modeling did not suit her personality, and the lifestyle was long and tiring once she got caught up with it. Many of her modeling friends were consumed by not eating, sniffing drugs, and partying hard long hours before shoots. Not long after her eighteenth birthday, Eden sobered up and faded from the limelight for the next few years. She used her time wisely: she was now living on her own in a small apartment in Los Angeles and spending time with her mother in Seattle here and there, modeling for various art classes – and re-learning how to play the guitar. Janey had taught Eden the basics of guitar and piano while she was still small, but the knowledge gleaned from her mother had long since faded. It did not take Eden long to remaster a rudimentary understanding of the instrument, and encouraged by her success, she rounded up a few other musicians as a trial experiment, forming the band Joy de Vivre with Eden on guitar. The preliminary version of this band found modest, but notable success among the LA scene, until they lost their lead singer over a year later. After dozens of unsuccessful auditions, Eden left the guitar in favor for the microphone – and found herself much more at home there. Over time, the band diverted from their original pop-y roots, and took on a harder punk rock edge; it was enough to get them invited to play Warped Tour in 2004, and have since made continual appearances. Eden, at present, now lives in Seattle, using it as means to do her writing and recording, mostly with her mother. She still picks up modeling jobs for friends from time to time, but that sort of work has taken a backseat to her music career.

Personality: Unlike her peers, Eden is often viewed as quiet and aloof, though nothing could be further from the truth. She considers herself to be somewhat of a stereotypical Virgo, and she's learned to take her work very seriously. Though she's risen above her self-destructive days of her teenage years, Eden can still be spotted at Hollywood hotspots and friends' parties every so often - though, mostly to act as a babysitter more often that not, a role she's come to lovingly accept. She has been known to consume copious amounts of drugs and alcohol in as close to moderation as she could get - under her parents' radars, of course.
