Can I play a character that isn't on the list? The list is by no means absolute, the characters (and stories) listed however are mod approved already so there is some convenience in that. Can you explain the transformations and changes? And how they will be effected by them? So many of the characters in fairytales are extraordinary from abilities to being talking animals they are nothing short of incredible. The characters residing in Princemont will be slowly becoming their fairytale characters in three or more stages (the number of stages is up to the player) - think of them as steps to completely the transformation into their characters - these will be laid out and selected during the character's application. Characters will gain powers, curses, abilities, personalities or physical appearances of their fairytale characters. Each week (possibly every two weeks) a few characters will be drawn at random to undergo a stage in their transformation. Let's use the character of Puss in Boots as an example, they would slowly turn into a cat with an affinity for wearing boots. A character such as The Bad Fairy from Sleeping Beauty may can the magical ability to bestow curses and in time gain control of that ability. Characters will be changing at different rates and also coming to the realization that they are in fact fairytales at different rates (if at all).

Do we have to post all threads/logs/scenes? A large purpose of this game is writing and character development. Posting any threads/logs/scenes counts towards your activity, as well as giving people a glimpse at another writer's work. This isn't a place to be shy about your writing, it's a place to share and celebrate it.

Is there going to be a storyline community? It's unlikely. While the characters may know one another, storyline communities quickly turn into popularity contests based on out of character relationships and played bys or into false promises of future storylines. We do however encourage all players to introduce their characters in the out of character community upon acceptance to work out some relationships, there is also working out storylines in pbads for those that are more comfortable doing that.

When to adds happen? How long to holds last? Adds will occur on Sundays and Wednesdays (unless otherwise stated in the holds post). Holds last 3 days (roughly 72 hours) and expire at 11:59pm Eastern on third day.

Can I gender swap a character? In short, yes. While we don't encourage every character to be the opposite gender, a little shaking up of the genders is always a fun time - please think the flip through thoroughly.

Does a character have to follow the same path that they do in their story? In short, no. Characters that end up falling in love in their story may not fall in love in game or if they do it may not be with who they do in their story - a character that meets their end in their story may live to a ripe old age. However, characters from the same story may be drawn towards one another... It is up to the individual writers.
