Sooo I managed to cap (500) days of Summer, YAY! Only I forgot to change the default settings, which, long story short, I now have like literally 300,000 caps of (500) days of Summer. Which means that it is taking FOREVER to icon because just opening the folder every single time I need to open a new batch of files to icon from takes about 5 minutes. TRA LA LA. And also I already have 250 icons of JGL and I'm not even halfway through the damn movie. So, uh, here are those icons. We'll call it JGL from (500) Days Of Summer, Part The First, shall we?

OMFG I am LITERALLY this close to tears of frustration OMFG cos the latest version of VLC player does not do screencaps in the same way the version I had before the crash (my computer crashed last week, wheee) did, and I cannot figure out how it does it, nor can I figure out how to get back an older version or even which version I actually had, and I have spent the last hour searching through the videoLAN wiki and documentation and forum and I can find how to take a single 'snapshot' but not how to do automatic continuous screencaps which is what I need and could do before and I have at least three movies on my cpu right now for the sole purpose of capping and iconning AND I AM GOING TO CRY BECAUSE I CAN'T OMFG

Cutie-pie Candice Accola. You undoubtedly know her from Vampire Diaries (um, let me live in my fantasy world where everyone watches vampire soap operas made for teens and therefore I do not have to be ashamed of watching them too,) but I have wanted to icon her since I saw Dead Girl. Which, by the way? Don't fucking watch that movie. It was the most unpleasant movie experience I have ever had. I thought I would love it, because it's by the people who wrote Heathers or whatever and Heathers is one of my all-time favourites ("Chaos killed the dinosaurs, darling!") but oh my god was it loathsome.

So Chris Colfer is one of my favourite things about the planet earth. Srsly, Kurt is without a doubt the best part of Glee- and since every bit of Glee is awesome, that's saying something- and his voice. Oh my god, his VOICE. Angelic. And the ep where he throws the High F...there's an episode of Joan of Arcadia where Chris Marquette as Adam gives this expression that just broke me at age 16; well, that entire EPISODE of Glee is just Chris Colfer making that same heart-wrenching expression oh my god.
