Spring cleaned my flist. If my public posts are the only ones you can read, then you've been removed for one of the following reasons
01. inexplicable inactivity on my friend's list 02. a non-friend*
*Non-friend: When a friend doesn't even realize that you're not around When he/she continues with the incessant monologue chatter without realizing that you're seriously pissed off with him/her
That friend becomes a non-friend. A one-sided friendship is far more detrimental than a one-sided romantic crush.
Keeping a non-friend is hazardous because it tends to lead keepers into a state of delusions known as having friends when all the non-friend is interested in is having an emotional punching bag.
Any problems, PM me. Do not post on my other public entries.

To my friends with painful memories, a loss, whose home is no longer a sanctuary. Try as I might, words of comfort still sound hollow in the magnitude of grief. I wish I could, even just for a fleeting moment, be there and offer ...
*BIG HUGS*
I care. Even if it may sometimes be shrouded by the Internet.

BUDGET 2009 announcedLots of financial changes promised to Sabah and Sarawak (about time!), more improvements promised on the public transport system, babysitter allowances for working mommies, cellphones and internet access for government servants (dontcha just love GENERAL statements like that?), households whose electric bills are below RM20 DON'T HAVE TO PAY THEIR BILLS etc. Budget 2009 is the result of that much-needed wake-up call in March to the Powers That Be. Ultimately ... THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is, of course, my one-month bonus in addition to my salary. More money for bills and such. It was a quiet Saturday for me. I had plans to visit the MATTA FAIR at PWTC today but luckily I found out at the last minute that the date was set for 5-7th September instead of 30-31st of August. I stayed home the whole day and watched Rose Red. I think, amongst all other Stephen King's novel-to-screen adaptations, it was pretty decent. Matt Kesslar did help, alot. ^___^;; Also, I've been afflicted with a sudden obsession with Glenn Miller's Big Band. I'm so easily influenced. XP In other news, I went shopping today and bought my brother's ( birthday present )And also, just because I might not be on tomorrow due to the fact that I need to be on-call ... WISHING ALL MALAYSIANS A HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

This entry is possibly set off by badou's latest entry and my experience at a grocer mart earlier. I'm trying to buy detergent but an over-zealous promoter person won't let me. Look, I just want clean sheet and any ordinary detergent will do. I'm not an effing Homemaker Goddess or anything like that! Quite frankly, I do not care about activated actions of Biozymes Pearls and I will not spend an extra 8 bucks on it. But noooo ... she has to harass me about it. >:O That kinda pissed me off and I only bought ONE item (my regular detergent) from the mart when I was planning to buy a few more other items. Well done, lady! You've cut down business for your employer!! I don't know what mantras the store managers drum into their promoters' heads these days but I believe there are people like me out there who do not want your help unless we need to. So please do not follow us around like some lost puppies while we browse. You guys totally take the joy out of browsing for us. And besides, with you yapping beside me, it is hard for me to ogle, compare and browse. If I feel the pressure that I need to buy something just to get you off my back, I. Will. Walk. Out. If you look at me like I can't afford the shit you sell, I will also walk out. With that wad of cash in my pocketses. It is only fundamental. If you strip in front of me for a general examination and I start rolling my eyes and giggling, how would YOU feel? When you approach me for the first time asking if I need your help and I answer in the negative, saying that I am only browsing, the only decent thing for you to do is take two steps back and give me some personal space to do so. Trust me, the chances of you getting a sale out of me that way is almost 100% if I see what I like. Of course, I am aware that you need to watch out for shoplifters or careless folks who break stuffs, but surely you can do that from a respectable and discreet distance. And not to worry about some other kid stealing your sales because I will usually look for the first salesperson who comes up to me when I enter the store. But the worst of the lot is possibly the one who badgers the most and when I pick up an item which is of little or no commission to them, they just show me their nasty faces or disappear. I remember my cousin once had this huffy salesgirl who did that to him and he dug his nose and put boogers on all her merchandise. >:O He's a salesperson's worst nightmare. Another incident, he swap the L-sized men's briefs, which come in cartons, with the S-sized men's briefs. Oh boy, at least, all I did was leave. ^__^; Moderation is probably the key. Though, I'd have to say that some of the best/decent salespeople I've ever encountered were in Brit-labelled stores like Marks&Spencers, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop and Miss Selfridge.

I had a full Saturday off, which is quite rare, so I get to sleep in till 0900hr. Then, I had a wicked chat on AIM with kuroitenshi and Kyle. Sankyuu peeps! Other than that, I cleaned out my room since I'll be getting new furnitures soon. My wardrobe's door is falling out. O__o Oh, and I realized I need to get a jewellery tree but the mannequin ones I find around here are fuglies. Now, these would be nice ... ( So very pretty things! )Hm, what else? Finally updated my icon journal @ mercurial_muse. Nothing much going on. I know I'm just randomly updating but I'm doing so because I know if I don't, I'll get completely lazy and this thing won't ever get updated again. And this meme that needs doing ... Pick a fandom, and I will pick a character that I would: ▶ bake cupcakes for: ▶ trust with the keys to my car: ▶ put thumbtacks on the chair thereof: ▶ have a crush on: ▶ pack up and leave if they moved next door: ▶ vote for President: ▶ pick as my partner in a buddy movie: ▶ pair up: ▶ vote off the island and into the volcano: ▶ wheedle into fixing my MP3 player: My fandoms include: NANA, Nodame Cantabile, Honey & Clover, Saiyuuki, Tenjou Tenge, Ouran Koukou Host Club, Lucky Star, Furuba, Goong, Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu, Zettai Kareshi, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, Konjiki no Gash Bell, Doki Doki School Hours, Gintama, Lord of the Rings, Hot Gimmick, Midori no Hibi, Devil May Cry, Weiss Kreuz, Yami no Matsuei Hokay. Bedtime. I need to be on-call again tomorrow (Sunday). O______o
