7. If you use an eCheck it can take up to 2 weeks to process, so don't use them!

No more requests will be accepted. If your request came after 12am then you're out of luck. Thanks everyone, we'll be sending out emails today to the people who got their requests in before 12am!

Hi everyone,
First off I must apologize to people who requested usernames and had them taken back. This was due to the people who originally owned them re-claiming them. That's just life and there's no need to cry.
ANY journal NOT validated by January 4 is up for grabs and CANNOT be reclaimed.
As we get requests we fulfill them.

I've sent out emails for the current requests. I've also updated the current list and crossed some out, unfortunately I do not have the time to run through the entire list so a few people are getting denial emails...
I've definitely learned a lot about how this should all work and I re-worded one of the rules to say that you MUST have your email address in your profile so I can see it. I don't have time to be digging around the database looking for your email address.
I did find it funny that some people thought they could comment with a list of 10 usernames and then leave another 3 or 4 comments with 10 other usernames, YOU ONLY GET TO CHOOSE 10...haha
Ok, well hope it's been fun!!

PB : The celeb you are using and were they held for you.
JOURNAL : Linked and unlinked
AIM : Make sure it pertains to the character
AGE : 18+ only.
BIO : Link to the first entry/biography.
EXAMPLES : AIM and journal, compilation journals are fine.
REQUEST MEMBERSHIP : here, here, here, here and here before or after you submit the application.
- Your application will be screened for privacy
- Adds will be done every other day or every two days depending on how many we receive.
- If your application was deleted, you were rejected from the community.

1. The most important rule in this community is to keep OOC and IC separate. We all know never to cross this line, so don't do it. No one wants someone to ruin a community, right? So keep things separate.
2. Journals and AIM screen names cannot have excessive underscores, x's, or numbers. In addition, both must pertain to your character by including either a first or last name, or a nick name. Have a disclaimer in your user info before applying. Be original; do not use your PB's first or last name for your character, etc. Make it all up.
3. Update your character's journal once every three weeks. There will journal checks and there will be a warning given before removals are done. No one liners. Have a first entry up (two paragraphs or three) of a background history of your character. Please do not use the small font. It's hard to read for some of us.
4. Since this is a city based community, PBs of all ages are allowed here, but the age limit for them would be 18 and over. We do not want immaturity going on in this community. This is New Orleans and half the people are mature around here.
5. The mod must be notified of any mature storylines (i.e. pregnancy, rape, etc.) taking place. This is a city based community and we want everything to be as realistic as possible, but we don't need over five weddings and ten pregnancies going on. Please, no excessive drama. Slash is allowed.
6. If you need to go on hiatus for a period of time, let the mod know or post in the OOC journal to inform us that you need to be put hiatus and we will make sure that your character will not be overriden while you are on your hiatus.
7. Participate with AIM scenes at least once or twice a week to ensure us that you are active in the community. Make sure you talk to at least everyone so you will get to know them and you will have something to update on. Do not join and just ignore the community. You will be removed.
8. Be sure to pimp out the community once you are accepted in order to gain new members and help boost your storylines. It’s a great way to meet more people.
9. When applying, be sure to add all the communities and make sure you read all the rules so you're not forgetting any information.
10. Remember to have fun, be mature, and keep pimping the community out to get more people to join!
