Still alternating "get time-sensitive stuff done" mode and "fall over and close eyes" mode, with the occasional foray into email and LJ, but not sustained enough to get caught up. I'm aware I owe a lot of people replies, as well as a cute cat story, random news to report, and political ranting and mocking. I'm hoping to start catching up Wednesday.

I've been having "this is small, I should be up to it" things grow into "pushed myself too hard" things after starting them, a bit too often lately. That's half the problem. The other half is that most of the "gotta get this done This Week" things I've been banging my head against are in categories that I find especially difficult and/or time-consuming and/or unpleasant.

I hope to have time (er, feel like I have time, or maybe convince myself I have 'permission' to take the time) to sit down and compose entries with actual thought in them instead of random updates and occasional complaints.

Oh, one important update, briefly: I'm mobile again. Not very mobile, due to the high price of gasoline and my lack of income, but still a (large) step in the right direction. And the double bass will fit. I plan to be at 3LF rehearsal tonight, as long as I pace myself between now and then so I don't wind up crashing at just the wrong moment.
