Just For - Nickleback |

I stayed up pretty late last night, as per tradition. Had a blast as well doing so. Sometimes, when you're just in the groove of something, you can't stop. *chuckles* I also watched my first movie of the year, unlike years before it wasn't Interview or MST3K. I watched The Last Starfighter, a fave of mine since I was little. It's one of those few movies I could watch until my eyes bleed and not be sick of it, though I haven't watched it as much as Interview so it's possible I'm premature on that thinking. As of this point I don't think I could ever be sick of it. It's probably going to be awhile before I can get myself to actually WATCH Interview again. But right now that is the only movie on the watched too much list.
*ponders watch to maybe watch today* I've been marathoning things lately movies and a couple of series. I've been very fortunate to have such access to as many series as I do. Which makes me wonder why some series go on forever, if it's awesome that is one thing, but if it isn't why let it go on for so many seasons? Why not come up with a really great ending than dragging it out? Then there are series that go the other way, its an amazing series and gets cut before it's time either too few seasons or in some cases too few episodes. Cutting it randomly in the middle of a season. That boggles my mind. If you're going to cancel a series ANY series those that are fans would like to see some kind of ending, when it comes out on DVD they will be even more likely to get it, right? /rantish thing.
Not sure why I did that besides I felt like it. Anyways. The big ol birthday is coming up in less than two weeks and I haven't really made any for sure plans on the day itself. I'm a little miffed that it's fallen on a monday this year. I hate monday in general. It's an odd day of the week and on average I find that bad things randomly happen on a monday more than any other day of the week. This is only for me personally and I don't go looking for trouble. Honestly with the way my mind words I can tell you what day of the month it is, but not what day of the week usually. No placeholders anymore. *shrugs*
I've already been told one of my birthday present which is an awesome surprise. She wanted to make sure that I didn't get it for myself which is understandable but it doesn't come out actually until after my birthday so I hadn't even thought to look for it on DVD yet. Never the less I'm very excited about it, I had missed a few episodes last year when it was on because it was on a channel I usually don't watch but what I did see I loved the series. *chuckles* Old school but not, trying to explain it without seeing the series might get kind of confusing so take my word for it. After that, I'm debating on making plans, well who to make plans with because there are a few people, but the bigger thing is spending an evening with my family. We've been going out for my birthday for a very long time. I couldn't really tell you how many years because I don't think it has been consecutive depending on where I was. If we have dinner on my birthday then I would have to wait to hang out with everyone else, but if we go for a different day then I'm going to gather. Maybe watch a movie, have some cookie cake or the like and play some games because some board games...fantabulous~ If I had more 4 player Wii games that would help, but so far I haven't really wanted anything besides Kart that is that many players and I need to get more controllers, but that's another story all together. *still ponders on what is wrong with my PS2 one* I have a feeling it's getting old and I do admit not to treating it as well as I should have. As long as it works enough for me to play DVDs with it I'm good. I don't game enough to need a new controller for the time being.
Wow, this got a little longer than I had planned, I should stop there. Have a good day people. I'm going to work on my new layout since it's been like a year and I finally know what I want up here.
