SUBMISSION POST FOR 01/09/09 [02 Jan 2009|07:29pm

Post submissions here!

1. Graphics should be no larger than 600x400 and should be in either .gif, .jpeg or .png format.

2. Do not submit honors regarding children under 13.

3. Do not submit honors with private information, such as full name including last name, address, telephone number, pictures or screen name, UNLESS they are publicly accessible (userinfo, myspace, etc.) at the time of submission.

4. Save the honoring for the submission posts. The concept of this community becomes pointless when everyone reveals who submitted the honors.

5. DO NOT SUBMIT HONORS ABOUT YOURSELF. Nobody would know (some of us could probably guess), but you'd feel pretty lousy if you needed to make yourself an honor to boost your self-esteem. If we find out you've made an honor for yourself, or if it looks like it was made for yourself, we will delete it immediately.

6. Do not submit honors that contain nudity of a minor, nudity of minors can be considered Child Pornography. In this case, a minor is anyone under 18.

7. ALL IMAGES MUST BE UPLOADED TO EITHER TINYPIC.COM OR IMAGESHACK.US

8. Also, we really only need the URL of the image you're using for your honors. There's no need to post the image itself too in your comment.

9. When nominating someone for the lj-cut of the week, please include the nominee's username and a quote/phrase/song lyric/whatever to be used as the lj-cut text. All we ask is that you keep the phrase clean. (i.e., no curse words, etc.)

I have good news! Turns out that my package didn't make an unnecessary trip to New York! :D I was here when I got home from work! :DDD We don't have to beat the USPS in the face with a stick! :D Although the violence sounds fun since I've been pretty much working since Friday after last. D:

Christmas was amazing! I had been really worried this year because we just didn't have the money to be buying presents. So to make me feel at ease my family made a deal that this year we would all make our presents for each other. That drawing up top was my brothers gift to my daddy, he also made one for babe of babe, me, Clem, and sid dog. I baked everyone brownies and knitted scarves (not to mention I made a baby for every one heehee). Babe had a photoshoot with Clem dressed up in a different outfit to represent each member of the family (with my help) and bought nice frames to put them in. My dad gave out his secret recipe for the most amazing tacos and all the ingredients needed to make them. My sister-in-law made me the most beautiful necklace and on the end of it is a locket with babe and Clementine's picture inside (it made my heart melt! I'm never taking it off). My mommy made money at work (home made gift party pooper), and bought us all pajamas, thick fluffy bathrobes, and slippers.

It was the most personal and loving Christmas ever. We all had so much fun doing that we decided we would like to do it this way every year! Stoked!

Okay, so I'm pretty much sure that all I'm getting from my parents for Chrismas is a card with $100 in it. :P This in mind, I've decided I'm going to buy myself a cape.

Yes, a fucking cape.

My family has been getting The Pyramid Collection catalogue for years now and I've always wanted one of these damn things. So, in light of this, I'm going to buy one. I'll probably only wear it for Guild, but IDC. I've wanted one for years now, and since this is Christmas money, I think that's a fairly good enough reason to buy one.

THE QUESTION IS

Green and Purple?

OR

Red and Black?

Keep in mind that I'm not too worried about delievery time. I know they're out of stock in the purple and green, but if I order now they'd ship to me by January 26th. This really isn't a factor, so fire away at which one you like better.

There's also a purple and red cape, but I'm not really too fond of that. I also want one with a lining (reversible or non) so the plain black one on the site is out too.

HALP ME OUT U GUISE.

Okay, so, last night, I got onto Facebook to wish Scott a happy birthday. And, yea, I know what you're thinking: With all the issues I've had with him lately, why the fuck would I want to do that?

I don't hate Scott. I hate the way he treats me sometimes, and I really hate the way he treats the new administration and sometimes tries to work against them and me because we're not doing what he's suggested, but I don't hate him. I really wonder if he even realizes how backhanded a lot of his compliments sound, because a lot of the time I'm not even sure if he knows how the things coming out of his mouth sound.

And besides, he's the first person from Guild when I started, besides my fiance, to treat me like a human instead of a "new pair of boobs" as a certain cretin who was there when I started and still deserves several shots to the nuts from me happened to put it.

And yea, I bag on him a lot for not having a job. But really, even I have a fucking job right now. It's not much of one, but I have one and while I may not be able to pay for huge items or take care of really expensive needs, I can take care of a lot of the things I need and want. I'm 23. I have a $400 tuition bill due by mid January that isn't going to take care of itself. Scott still lives in an apartment paid for by his parents at 31 and he just graduated. You can see why I would be irked by the unfairness of that. It doesn't help when he assumes that I can go and do things when I literally have no money for it.

That and if he had a job, he wouldn't have time to angst over Guild when everything is FINE.

So anyway, I go to Facebook to wish him happy birthday and I find out that he's removed me from his friends list. I wouldn't be too worried about this and ask for a readd if Scott didn't strike me as the type of person who might cut off all ties with you if you removed him from your Top 8 on Myspace. I guess I should take this as a declaration of the end of our friendship? IDK. I'm not completely sorry for all the things I said, at least not on here. Yea, I said some of them out of anger, but when I made those posts, guess what, I was angry.

In any case, if he wants to come back around and try being friends with me again, then I'm okay with that. If not, it's kind of sad, but I'm not going to spend too long crying over it.
