well... i guess i just have to start my new year stuff a week late, after that ridiculous fiasco from before (which, according to my mother, is completely my fault and she did nothing wrong).

what i will do this year:
x get a pocket planner and remember my schoolwork
x go walking/running at least one day every week (weather permitting)
x get a job and save up money to move out
x stay in my room/avoid my parents
x make my brother pay me to drive him to work, to the bar, to his friends' houses, or anywhere else

seems reasonable. although that second and third might fail, depending how busy i am with school. should be fine, though.

i don't know what my deal is... i mean, it kind of was hurting a bit lately, but seriously. what the hell?

*ahem* that is to say, my right leg is fucked up. mostly in the ankle, but my knee is also acting weird. it just hurts. it's hard to walk on it, and i can't think of much that could be causing problems. not at this point, at least...

let's see, last major thing i remember was when that big glass door shattered and rained down on me, while i was working at spencer's. on its own it wasn't bad. but it had this huge, heavy, shiny metal runner at the top that crash landed across my lap as i sat seiza (that's sitting on the floor with the legs folded under; all the weight is on the shins and, to a lesser extent, the feet) trying to lock up the store. i was limping for a couple of weeks, or so.
but that happened in like early summer.

maybe i slept in a weird position and don't remember... i guess i played wii sports with luvotomy a little too much over the weekend. i did have a nasty wii shoulder for a day, but i don't really see that causing ankle/knee/shin problems.

ever wiggle your toes too much, like constantly, and that top part of your foot gets sore, and it kinda shoots up your leg and hurts like that? yea... this feels like a combination of that and growing pain. (*is also not growing anymore* btw)

anyway, next save point i find, i'm turning it off. possibly for good. sucks, too. i really wanted to know what i missed between kh1 and kh2. :\

i wanted to update, but i forgot what i was going to say... whatever, i can just ramble or so.

i've been awkwardly between musical moods lately, and it's kind of odd for me switching from metal to alternative, back and forth. it feels weird, too, like i can't decide what i want to listen to. idk. o_O the thing is that i tend to do things in cycles. phases, if you will. i'll just get in a mood for a certain type of music, or a specific video game, and it'll last anywhere from two days to two months, but that's just the thing i'm into during that time. kind of weird to explain, i guess. whatevs.

but yes, i do like my chemical romance. and yes, they are alternative rather than "emo". listen to their music if you don't believe me; anyone who has both ears and a brain can tell. (although i did, unfortunately, used to be emo.)

speaking of alternative, i can't seem to find any of my smashing pumpkins cds. this is exceedingly lame, as i no longer have their entire discography on my computer since i had to reinstall windows. what on earth will i do without every sp song ever? D:

i mean it like, both of these things: ears and a brain. not like... both of your ears + your brain. you can listen to music with just one ear. i know because i went temporarily deaf in my left ear once. it lasted for like... ever. i'm wanting to say two weeks, but i also felt traumatized so it might've just been 1 ~ 1.5 luvotomy, do you remember? XD

So I was fatting around today in the basement and Vi came down there too and I was reviewing Code Geass because I was bored. Then I turned and asked Vi something which obviously was a silly question to her. But she's smartical so maybe it wasn't really a stupid question. I asked why Kallen kept getting referred to during the battle as Q-1 and why that's the name that shows up when she calls on the caller ID or whatever.

Did anyone else know the answer to this? Anyone? Anyone?

Because Vi wrinkles her nose giggles leans over my shoulder and points out the whole chess motif and is like. Q-1 is the queen's position in Chess. Though I just assume that she knows because she knows how to play chess. Then she tried to teach me and I ended up giving up on her lesson and played with her chess pieces like they were checkers. Which she didn't enjoy :x Whatever man chess is haaaaard.

i'm watching a program on the history channel about masonic conspiracy theories. i must say, some of this is particularly nonsensical. for example, apparently the number thirteen is masonic and that means that our seal of the united states was made by freemasons and it's all a conspiracy to give our dollar bill an inside motif that only some people understand, or something.

there are thirteen leaves on the olive branch, thirteen arrows in the eagle's claw, thirteen stripes on the banner, and thirteen stars above the eagle's head.

let's get one thing straight: there is nothing that makes an atheist naturally less annoying than an insane christian. especially if said atheist is an idiot. i can't stand people who get offended by a simple word or phrase just because they don't believe in a religion.

people actually get offended by things like the word "miracle." things like "have a happy christmas" or "happy hanukkah." (although i am all for replacing both with a generic "happy holidays" just so people stop fighting over it.) or like "have a blessed evening" (when i worked in the grocery store, i knew a very kind woman who would say that to everyone when they left) or "god bless you." or the variant, just plain "bless you."

when someone is wishing you well, what the hell kind of response is it to get huffy and tell them, "i'm an atheist." yea? cool, man. i'm a nihilist, so bless you, and merry fucking christmas. ("my non-religion is better than your non-religion"??)

o hay gaiz, wait a sec. miracles and blessings aren't even inherently religious. i mean, "god bless you" is, but a simple bless? nah. a miracle is something wondrous, whether you attribute it to a higher power or not. i'm not making this up -- grab a dictionary and hunt down these two words. better yet, just type them in dictionary dot com.

to be honest, i don't see any of these things as offensive. people are too literal, and some of these are simple colloquialisms. personally, i consider it almost an especial compliment when people say things like that. they are not only wishing me well; they are wishing for me the favor of what they believe to be the highest power in existence.

maybe consider that next time? :P

so of course, i went to luvotomy's house today and we finally finished silent hill 4. it was pretty epic, even though we got the crappy crappy ending. (what is it like to be a doublecrap??) then we finally beat that asshole tutor guy in rule of rose... and then promptly got stuck at another boss and gave up again. XD yea, that's how we roll.

i've been watching the crap out of those yu-gi-oh abridged videos, also.

so today was pretty sweet, i guess. i went to luvotomy's house and we played silent hill 4, got closer to the end, ya know... ran out of health items. XD and i got my research paper back today. 90%. hooray. for some reason, i still have a fair amount to bitch about...

a) last night, i got into a pretty epic fight with one of my very dear friends. it made me crazy, i don't even remember exactly what it was about -- nor do i particularly want to -- but it made me really uncomfortable. i've had a pretty epic anger problem since i was a kid, and what tends to happen when people get me so mad is i say or do things that i don't remember. that or i can see myself doing/saying things that i don't mean, but i can't stop it happening. half the stuff i typed (online fight) to my friend, i don't even remember thinking -- let alone, typing. it was really unsettling because he wasn't mad at me... i'm used to people not talking to me for weeks, for less than the things i said to him, and he really wasn't mad at me...

2) i have an allergy to smoke. any kind of smoke. tobacco, camp fires, whatever -- i have problems trying to breathe it. this is awesome, cause both my parents are chain smokers and they have been since i was a kid. what i want to know is what makes them think that it's somehow okay to walk into my bedroom while they're smoking. besides not being able to breathe, i just plain don't like it. it leaves behind that disgusting smell that makes me want to puke (literally, most of the time). hell, it's not even "okay," so to speak, for them to open my fucking door. that stench floats in every time, because they hold the damn thing wide fucking open so they can talk to me about whatever stupid bullshit they're saying.
...yea, there's a lot of animosity here toward them. >_>

iii) why do people link me to shit all the time? i mean, i send people links but i don't always expect them to click them. i do it cause i'm bored... i <3 my friends, but seriously, i hate when people send me a link and then quiz me about it later. i don't always pay that much attention. i mean... did i listen to the song you sent me? yea. do i remember what was my favorite part about it? what are you, crazy? of course i don't remember. can you quote the stupid ass web comic i sent you last week? yea, didn't think so. hush up, then.

so... yesterday only got more and more kick ass after i typed that other entry. i got home, typed an entry, then got a call from my friend aaron... i haven't seen that kid (who is actually older than me) since like june or july or some shit. so i went over to his fancy new apartment and he showed me around (he was still living with his parents last time we were talking) and all that stuff, and then we made spaghetti (i mostly just got in the way, because that's what i do when i'm in a kitchen with anyone else) and watched iron man. i fucking love that movie.

so after the movie it was getting pretty late and i decided to take my leave... then sharra texted me while i was driving home talking about how she wanted to make a pie, and obviously i would have to go over and help (get in the way). we went to the grocery store to buy stuff and soon got to the business of making delicious apple pie. from scratch. then i was over there till about 3am waiting for pie...

okay, it doesn't matter how tired you are; 3am pie is a wonderful idea. always.

...then i woke up at 1pm or so. yeaaaaaaaa.

and it's official: rhode island has the worst drivers in the country. that's not my opinion or experience; history channel just told me so. i'll believe it.
