SO. I'm headed back to work today, at least, I'm going to see if they want me today. My schedule will be a lot more forgiving than last year (where I was working at the bar as well). I'm only at the office this year and possibly volunteer clerking so yay free evenings.

So, I will be on aim on my phone, though I can only have one window open at a time, so no chats. But if you need me I'll either be on weasleywheeze or lukepreaches. You may also reach me by email or text. If you want my phone number I'll give it to you, I'm on AT&T and have unlimited text so, random stuff during the day is good.

So yeah that is how it goes. Sometimes I get stuck in projects and doing stuff and can't respond, I'm not ignoring anyone!

Fact, laptops are hardy enough to loot around in your bag but if you fumble it a few inches onto the floor there's a possibility of a complete harddrive failure. Right? I KNOW.

It was no more than like four inches from the ground and it didn't hit hard but I guess it hit just WRONG and so they can't retrieve my stuff and it's been like a MONTH since I backed up, so I guess it could be much much worse, as if having NO back up, but still heartbreaking and expensive.

So right now I am at work. I will be able to use this maybe, and can rig up a computer/external os thing maybe maybe I can have some work stuff done.

ANYWAY this means I will be pretty absent this weekend into next week. DDDDDDDDDDD; I will do my best to tag stuff but. getting my notes and class stuff is more of a priority.

I don't usually link to things like this, but I'm just shocked and horrified. I felt the need to pass it on, it came from what I believe is a credible source (from here who is a writer and someone who holds a M.A. and knows his research) and the site seems reliable. I'll have to read it some more and come to my own conclusions, but as someone with an adopted sibling, I am just absolutely disgusted.

"A compatriot of mine has begun work on a blog for survivors of Attachment Therapy, also referred to as Holding Therapy or Rage Reduction. This is a brutal and sometimes fatal form of abuse masquerading as psychiatric treatment. There's next to nothing out there for children and adults who have undergone it, in part because it's a relatively new "technique". Attachment therapy promises quick fixes and firm results and creates lasting scars instead.

This is child abuse, sanctioned and committed by so-called professionals and funded by insurance companies. It is child abuse, and there is plenty of documentation that it can easily end in murder.

If you'd like more details about what Attachment Therapy involves, and some of these are graphic, you can visit the blog. If you can't cope, or don't want to, I don't care. You don't have to read it, though I think you should. What matters is making this public. And that, honestly, means getting that blog as public as humanly possible.

Some survivor is going to start struggling with their experiences and look for help, and they'll get on Google too.
