Busy Busy Busy!! [21 Nov 2008|05:14pm] jimmy [ mood | cold ] [ music | Carl Cox - Phoebus Apollo ]  This week went by so quickly. I feel like I just got out of the SF & DGD show last Saturday. Been really busy at work as usual. I haven't been doing much consulting at all lately. I might have an appointment on Monday, but who knows, depends on whether or not I feel like it I guess. I've been sick, I think I caught it from a certain someone, blech! Oh well, I think I am actually starting to feel better, it feels like it's just in my head now. Nothing that some medicine and tea can't fix. I've got a bunch of new games, so I've got to update the master list. I am thinking about just ex-ing off a bunch that I know I will never touch again. I played some Crisis Core this morning, was fun. I really do like that game, I actually might boot it back up once I finish this entry. So emilie is going to be gone for pretty much all of the next week which means I'll be alone here at the apartment all week! I don't know if I'll be able to figure out what to do! I almost bought the WALL-E DVD today, but then I figured if I am actually going to buy a movie that it might as well as be on Blu-ray. Especially a movie like that. Been talking to this guy (raf ) who does a bunch of Scribbld's CSS, he's really cool. He became friends with morgan  and then I met him through her. Definitely a geek genius! Poor Morgan has been going through a lot lately, but I won't go into to much detail, I'll let her tell her own story if she wishes. I'm really enjoying this backlit keyboard, I'm sitting here with music playing on AppleTV in the dark working on various computer projects and I can see my keyboard perfectly fine. I think it would be really cool to pull it apart and replace the white lights with red or something, might even make it better on the eyes in the dark. A lot of kids (okay 3 but in like the span of 2 weeks) having been dying at the University, it's definitely a little sketchy and it sucks. I don't/didn't know of any of them personally. Also my friends boyfriends brother died this past week so that was definitely not fun. I believe he was a grade above me in high school, I didn't really know him, or was friends with him, but it's pretty close to me...not sure I have much else to say about that subject. I played some Resistance this afternoon. Definitely a fun game and it's just got a really good amount of difficulty to it, where I can stand it and it's not too easy and not too hard. Really well done, I definitely want to get the 2nd game. I am really digging the NXE. Morgan and I share an account so it kind of sucks we can't have 2 avatars/characters, but that's understandable, you're not really supposed to be sharing an account, but considering I log in every other week or something it made sense for us haha That and she had been working on a game back when we first got Xbox and she didn't create her own account or forgot to log into the one she created so now she doesn't want to loose those gamer points she accumulated haha. Go figure...now my character is some blonde haired chick... I haven't really talked to makkintosshu or Keith in a few weeks, it kind of sucks, but it just goes to show you how crazy busy we all are. I haven't even played GoW2 with either of them, suck! Tonight, I think Emilie and I are going to watch The Dark Knight and maybe WALL-E...maybe some BECK too. It's rather cold here, it started snowing like crazy today! Anyways, I think I'll jump into Crisis Core and attempt to figure out why PSP doesn't support WPA2 as an 802.11x encryption protocol...grrr....!  post comment

look what i can do! [21 Nov 2008|05:10pm] jimmy [ mood | good ] As usual, another blog entry I forgot about...I would say this is about a week old... Wow, I feel like I've not written in here in forever... Last night I went to see Senses Fail w/ Dance Gavin Dance and Sky Eats Airplane and some other band...it was amazing. I've really got to buy another Canon point and shoot. My poor SD200 is pretty much useless...I might see if there's anything Clifford can do too it, maybe replace the flash or something. Today I spent some time working on some site-wide CSS, although I didn't get much done. Tomorrow I am planning on getting the search box on the navigation strip working better. I think we might post some site contests for layouts (both of site and my journal) and give out free Paid Accounts to those that are worthy...I'll post more about that as we figure out some more details. post comment

Doctors X___O [21 Nov 2008|12:03pm] morgan [ mood | depressed ] Back from the doctors, definitely not fun and I hate this stupid cast. I can't wait for 2 weeks to be up. It's going to be the best day of my life! So I thought about going camping this weekend, definitely will have to pack lots of warm stuff and a bunch of soup and hot chocolate. I thought about hiking up the mountain behind the house like we used to do back in high school. Might go with a couple friends, but we'll see how I feel. I kind of like my nice warm bed with Kiara (who's not really supposed to be on there but whatev!). So today, I am not doing anything!! It's great! I plan on playing some Xbox that's about it. And then of course dinner/movie tonight. I feel like taking a bunch of those silly quizzes that seemed "popular" back in 2004 lol. Am I Too Far Gone To Medicate?! Good weird...I know I wrote that I'd be logging off the nets for a couple days, but since this is basically my little journal, I thought it would be similar to writing in a paper one, so this doesn't count ;) I am not checking emails, FaceBook, Twitter, none of it...I'm just writing in here. Yesterday was raf's birthday. It sounds like he had a pretty good day, a really good day I guess. I'm glad he liked my present. I got him an XBox 360 w/ Call of Duty 4 and we ended up playing for a couple hours. I definitely had fun. I can really get more kills without that stupid cast (which is being put back on today unfortunately). I doubt they'll do it in pink, but you never know, I'm going to ask anyways. I think I am pretty much over being sick which is really nice. I basically just had a sore throat and a bit of a runny nose for a couple days. I was definitely miserable during those days, but it's better then being sick for weeks. I'm still taking a couple meds to get me through the day, but it's not too bad anymore. So I told Rafael that I wanted to get another tattoo, I was thinking of getting something that would make me laugh each time I saw it, something related to me and him, but he just said he hates tattoos and not to talk to about it with him, oh well. I'll figure something cool out. I thought about getting a couple little Mario stars or something cute ^__^ not sure though. So apparently him and this girl are going to hook up. I won't name names because this is a public entry and I promised him I would keep my mouth shut (for the moment). I think it's totally awesome! I'm all for it, but he seems to down about it, I mean yeah I'm definitely not going to be the same girl around him when he does and now knowing but it's not like I'm that much different, HA HA HA I can still be funny. I don't really know if I want to talk more about the subject. I really feel good about them though, I think if that makes him the happiest boy in the world, then I'll be the happiest girl in the world for him. I'm totally behind him 100%! So it snowed again last night, I've got like an inch or two on my lawn, and it's pretty :) Tonight I am going out to dinner with Nikki and I think we might go to the movies too. I know this might sound odd, but I think I am going to focus on my real life friends, not that I don't care about my friends online, because I most definitely do. I just have so many good people here that I can hug and hold and talk face to face with. And I know I make it that way, and because I do I think I should start doing so. This weekend I don't really have plans, I don't know what I am going to do, maybe I'll go hangout with my brother and his friends for a bit. I played through some of the Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts demo last night. I couldn't stop giggling. It reminded me of so many good times back in the day, Nintendo 64, staying up late with friends playing Mario Kart and all. I think I am going to buy the guide for the full game, I remember needing it for the N64 version cause of all the music notes, and puzzle pieces, but now it looks like they've introduced like "go-karts" or something...I love Mumbo Jumbo! EEECOMPOKUM! :) Alright, so I've got a doctor's appointment shortly so I should probably get dressed and stop yapping! I hope everyone has a lovely Friday! xooxxmorgan post comment

I do feel a bit better now then I did this morning and afternoon though. I slept like shit :( I probably got 2-3 hours total. the medicine raf recommended worked a bit but not as well as I thought it would. I ended up using the whole bottle (oops) and it still really didn't do all that much, made me a bit sleepy and fixed a few things, nothing spectacular though. So anyways, I for Raf had to wake up early this morning to get into work, it was nice cause he sent me a chat on MSN and then I called him and we talked the whole way while he went to work. update ^_^ time... [20 Nov 2008|10:19pm] lawton_anime [ mood | tired ] lmao hope gina is having fun at that silly boot camp deal :P also begun sending out a couple of letters to people, got more to send though i worked harder than i thought over the past week, our IPS reports were posted in the stockroom and i was working ten dollars over my quota (in other words $76 over $68), despite the economic slump in much of the nation, people here in lawton have done alright, not too many bought too many cars or houses or took loans they could never in their stupid ass lives ever afford to pay off, our gas prices are low at a 1.71 a gallon, thanks to BRAC our wonderful Fort Sill is growing and so is our city, and much more, now we just have to get the fucking city council to realize its no longer the 1960's and is now the year 2008 dumbasses -_- see we are controlled by the good ole boy society here in lawton, sad sad fact, damn you mayor purcell. the election went better than we could have hoped for, i cant release all the information i got back from the CCRP executive meeting, but sufficient to say the GOP is in very good shape to kick some ass in 2010. out of the key U.S. house seats our challengers to their incumbents versus their challengers to our incumbents was 7:4 out of the victories on both sides. here in Comanche County, we took everything except the Sheriff's office, and have a war chest, we also have the high ground against the Democrats and the insane Libertarians. other stuff going on, will post more! post comment
