Christmas was amazing! I had been really worried this year because we just didn't have the money to be buying presents. So to make me feel at ease my family made a deal that this year we would all make our presents for each other. That drawing up top was my brothers gift to my daddy, he also made one for babe of babe, me, Clem, and sid dog. I baked everyone brownies and knitted scarves (not to mention I made a baby for every one heehee). Babe had a photoshoot with Clem dressed up in a different outfit to represent each member of the family (with my help) and bought nice frames to put them in. My dad gave out his secret recipe for the most amazing tacos and all the ingredients needed to make them. My sister-in-law made me the most beautiful necklace and on the end of it is a locket with babe and Clementine's picture inside (it made my heart melt! I'm never taking it off). My mommy made money at work (home made gift party pooper), and bought us all pajamas, thick fluffy bathrobes, and slippers.
It was the most personal and loving Christmas ever. We all had so much fun doing that we decided we would like to do it this way every year! Stoked!

Friday, November 28, 2008, marks the date for the Art in Action silent art auction and party to benefit Lamba Legal in their work to overturn Prop 8. The event takes places this Friday at Aubergine’s at 755 Petaluma Avenue, Sebastopol, CA, from 6:00 pm – 1:00 am.
The Art in Action auction will be an exciting evening of art, food, music, and fine wine. Art in Action features modestly priced original works of art and other items, (such as stays at local inns and hotels, theater and museum tickets, and bottles of wine, that are sold during a silent auction) donated by local artists and businesses. It’s a wonderful way to have a good time, support Lamba Legal (and in turn, the careers of emerging/upcoming/whatever artists), and go home with an original work of art.
Dozens of artists from Sonoma County have donated original works of art especially for Art in Action, including me! Items donated by local businesses will be auctioned off by raffle by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. In addition, live music will be performed by the Love Choir, Bret Martin, and The B Good Joes; the evening ends with the sounds of DJ Debaster.
Delicious food and wine will be served, and tickets can be purchased on a sliding scale for $15-$25.

SO, I came home tonight and babe had gotten me a Christmas tree and set it up for me while I was out.
I've been wanting a Christmas tree since September, it's really been my only pregnancy craving. : )
But, UNDER THE TREE...

Hey girls!
I just wanted to leave a quick update here to let you know I'm alive, and still knocked up! 33 days to go and counting! WOOOOO! heehee
Any who, I've got a whole mess of pictures from Halloween, and our latest baby shower. I'm WAY too lazy to write an entry about it so we'll just have to let the pictures do the talking. Yes? yes.

I just got back from my 3D-4D ultrasound! It was even more wonderful than I could have ever dreamed it would be! Babes Mom, step mom, and my mom and dad were there with us. They put us in this cute little room with two couches, a plush arm chair for babe, a bed for me, and a HUGE tv. They had these sweet nursery rhymes playing, and everything was MAGICAL! Clementine was very active at first and kept turning away from the camera. She does that when we're trying to get a heartbeat too, she'll swim away every time we find her. She's not ever born yet and already playing games with us! FINALLY, during the last three minutes or so, she turned STUCK HER TONGUE OUT and struck several poses. We have a dvd of it, but couldn't get any good stills of her with her tongue out.
After it was over, the technician said that she really enjoyed working with us, and asked if we could come back in about two weeks and do the 3D-4D ultrasound AGAIN for some new techs in training. FOR FREE! I was very happy to volunteer! I can't wait to see our little monster again and get MORE pictures. Did I mention they were going to do it FOR FREE! WOW!
My mom was joking as we were leaving the place that the baby isn't even born yet and she's already getting modeling gigs. hehehehe.

99 days to go TODAY! Woooo double digits!
Babe is in San Diego for the weekend and I'm bored out of my mind so I thought I'd come back to scribbld and lurk a bit! HA! : )
I even thought about joining a rating community again, but seeing as how I'm knocked up and 24 I have a hard time believing I'd fit in anymore. And with my hormones raging the way they are I doubt I could handle being flamed! : )

Is anyone on here looking for a community to make icons for?
I need at least 2 other people to be an icon maker with me. I will be making the usual: resources, icons, & maybe banners.
( a simple application & my examples: )
NOTE: Most of those examples haven't been posted at my original icon comm, bluesky, because they're very new. I want bluesky to be for custom icons only. I had a name in mind for this new community but I might not go with it. Comments are screened. Thanks!

some quick questions: do you update your journal (on here) regularly? is scribbld your primary journaling site? do you use any other journal server besides scribbld to update and keep in touch with people with? if so, which one(s)?
