Crazy at work. Then I scribbled a bit more for zine story. Then off to yearbook committee meeting. Then to the grocery store. Soon to take Karl to ball practice.

OH! I asked on my S&H list why the fandom is still going crazy while TPM slacked waaaaaaaaaay off, and how do we get it back on track?
I didn't get many suggestions, although folks on the MA list are doing fine with suggestions and ideas all on their own. However, the reasons behind the still-popular S&H:
- 88 episodes of canon, now out on DVD for all to love
Subtext that's barely subtext
Open affection between lead characters on screen
Open affection between lead actors off screen
Lots of plot holes waiting to be filled by writers, continuity errors to fix (more obvious now that we have DVDs to watch - see actors come back as different characters and yet no one recognizes the dead ex-wife! Or that the ex-wife's name changes from the Pilot to the episode! Or the dead hooker girlfriend back as a reporter! Or that the Torino got blown up/shot up/wrecked!)
Feedback done onlist (most crit still done offlist, but other feedback done onlist helps keep the list active and spurs more conversation)
Parody Film boost - original characteres/actors cameo at end
Final episode a real springboard for post-Sweet Revenge fic
I might have missed some, but I think that's the general gist. There simply isn't as much canon for TPM as there is for S&H, really.
