It rained. All day. Still raining now.

Got to nephew's 7th bday party. Bounce house outside. Fortunately, just sprinkling and damp, not pouring rain.

Hot dogs, chips, soda, cake. Got to hold wee baby who was due today but came seven weeks early. He's darling and adorable and EEEE!!

I found the first car I've been so so happy with just sitting in the driver's seat. Big, flat gauges. An offset console (is angled towards the driver rather than flat against the dash) with the radio and heating controls, and digital readout of mileage, fuel, etc. I felt like I was operating a plane or something, lol! I LOVED it! Had a moonroof. Leather. Four doors. I didn't drive it, but Roy checked under the hood - 3.6 supercharged...a little MORE than we need so we'll keep looking to see if we can find a less powerful engine in the same model...but it was a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. I never EVER thought I'd like a Pontiac...I think I had some old association with it or something...but it's got EVERYTHING I WANT. Gah. And Lovely shade of blue with a touch of green, I think.

Am doing early read through of stories for Sue and Terri. I love that. :) Need to start on my own now!

Am in the living room, catching up on car races today.
