Overwhelmed with the Ordinary

Last day of school @ 07:10 pm

Current Mood: Proud

Katie graduated and is ready for middle school. *cries*

They handed out some awards, and Katie won one for Creative Writing - the only one in her teacher's class! **iz proud**

Pics below the cut -just three, and one is of Jayne.

I didn't get to see Karl this morning, so no pictures of him.

My day @ 07:16 pm

Current Mood: anxious

I spent my morning taking stapled pieces of art of second grade walls; negotiating with the teacher who would be taking over Bonnie's classroom whether or not to leave the ABC chart over the chalkboard (it stays!); signing autograph books (Have a great summer! Mrs. McEwan); then watching the sixth grade graduation.

Sat behind Mackenzie's mom and we reminisced the preschool days. Her son Jackson is in Jayne's class yet; so we have two pairs of preschool folks, lol.

Several students got up to speak about their memories of elementary school, and Katie was one of them. *G* And her creative writing award! I'm so proud, really. Gosh. :D :D :D

Popped back into Jayne's class to say goodbye one more time *wah* and took a couple of pictures, and then signed Katie out early and we went to Starbucks for frappucinos before the other two would arrive home on the bus. We just made it, lol.

I had Vicki's kids, and Wyatt came over, too, so it was interesting trying to work with six kids milling about and chattering. Gahh. But I managed.

I'm so ready for both Con*Strict and SHarecon now...any minute now... my hope tonight is to finish for [info]master_chatnoir and get working on mine. Gahhh...

stress and anxiety, that's my life these days!
