Girls did great dancing at Oaks Park. Niece and nephew joined us and we had a great time. The park was packed - we counted at least four different company picnics and one 90th birthday celebration happening in the picnic areas, and of course all those folks were going on the rides, too. Finished up with our traditional dinner at the Thai restaurant that Rachel's parents run near the park. Her little brother Russell hung around our table as we finished up and then one by one the kids peeled off to go play with Russ and Rachel in the back lot.

elke_tanzer, if you get up here, I will take you there. :) It's a nice, pleasant place.

Stopped at Freddie's to get Karl some Vans, since he goes through cheap tennis shoes like...well...cheap tennis shoes. On sale for $40, and they better well last until at least Christmas!

I'm tired but I have Caring work to yet...my PT yesterday was more taxing, but I did my exercises this morning and need to do them tonight. I'm still wishing I had a sling because holding my arm up or down can still make it ache.

Did find a "steno" chair at City Liquidators - smaller than this one, on wheels, turns, height adjustable, lower back support that's also adjustable. Roy promises he'll put it together tomorrow.
