Ah, Paul @ 03:26 pm
Current Mood: busy
After the song, he looks at David with so much love in his eyes, like he's about to cry, so full of emotion.
PT went well, and then I did treadmill at the gym while Katie did her swimming, and then we got McDonald's. *facepalm*
Working away, have done Job #2 stuff, now on to Job #1 now that my shoulder is doing so much better - spreadsheet copy and paste work. Making travel arrangements for our trip down there in October - going in on a Sunday this time, working the office M-T and leaving on Wednesday. Usually it's the other end of the week, but we've got preggos and school things so this works better for us all. I think we'll all be there, too...
My little fan is buzzing away here, and the white noise is wonderful. I actually let it blow on me all night, and it didn't seem to bother Roy at all as I think it only blew on me. Working next to it is very peaceful.
It's currently 93 and we're expecting 98-100. We have baseball starting at 5:30. Our boys wear black. Ugh. Karl says the muscles on the left side of his back hurt - he's out in the backyard throwing some baseballs to see how that feels. We should have a full team for these last three games, so he would be probably sitting an inning or two out of being in the field. I'm leaving it up to him. Oh, he's just come to me and said he feels all hunched up on his left side, so I've called and left a message for coach that Karl will be out tonight and we'll be there Thursday.
I've made my own chiropractic appt - having rejiggered how I sit at my desk has improved my posture, but my back muscles are yelling at the new positioning. I'll see my lovely guy tomorrow.
Jayne's birthday is pretty much set - the family dinner on the 15th and the kid-friendly party at the pizza place with a bunch of play equipment on the 19th.
I fly out the 20th at 12:35am (yes, midnight, after Jayne's party!) for SHarecon - first into the waiting arms of
Oops, the thermometer just ticked up to 95. Swell. My feet, I mean... *guzzles more water*
And EEEEE zines I bought from Bliss just dropped on my doorstep! I was just picking up reading the last of the borrowed zines I have so I can send them back, and a whole new box arrives, that are MINE MINE MINE.
*iz thrilled*
And now the pressure of getting Karl to a ball game and dealing with dinner and all that has been lifted - Roy will pick up dinner on the way home, and we're not doing the game.
*breathes*
Back to the big work project due Friday...
