lmao hope gina is having fun at that silly boot camp deal :P

also begun sending out a couple of letters to people, got more to send though

i worked harder than i thought over the past week, our IPS reports were posted in the stockroom and i was working ten dollars over my quota (in other words $76 over $68), despite the economic slump in much of the nation, people here in lawton have done alright, not too many bought too many cars or houses or took loans they could never in their stupid ass lives ever afford to pay off, our gas prices are low at a 1.71 a gallon, thanks to BRAC our wonderful Fort Sill is growing and so is our city, and much more, now we just have to get the fucking city council to realize its no longer the 1960's and is now the year 2008 dumbasses -_- see we are controlled by the good ole boy society here in lawton, sad sad fact, damn you mayor purcell.

the election went better than we could have hoped for, i cant release all the information i got back from the CCRP executive meeting, but sufficient to say the GOP is in very good shape to kick some ass in 2010. out of the key U.S. house seats our challengers to their incumbents versus their challengers to our incumbents was 7:4 out of the victories on both sides. here in Comanche County, we took everything except the Sheriff's office, and have a war chest, we also have the high ground against the Democrats and the insane Libertarians.

other stuff going on, will post more!

lost the national competition, but won the state competition

my score card for the two sides:

national level-

Democratic Party pluses_
The Presidency
5 Senate seats - sorry Democratic Party, but seats incumbents held on to DO NOT count as gains
13 House Seats - sorry Democratic Party, but seats incumbents held on to DO NOT count as gains
1 Governship gain was seen, not much change there.
Several ballot issues concerning social issues were won, primarily over marijuana
http://news.aol.com/elections/2008/ballot

Democratic Party minuses_
Over spent funds on many unsuccessful races and ballot issues, especially the homosexual marriage ban that surpisingly passed in California. Some incumbents lost to GOP challengers, 6 House incumbent seats overall lost to Republicans.

Republican Party pluses_
Democratic Party did not create filiabuster proof majority in Senate
Democratic Party still has extremely weak House District seats
All three state ballot issues banning homosexual marriage passed
http://news.aol.com/elections/2008/ballot
Maintained an especially thirfty campaign. War chest is ready for 2010 and 2012

Republican Party minuses_
lost the Presidency
lost both House and Senate seats
did not maintain a proper GOTV movement

Oklahoma level-
The GOP mopped the floor with the Democrats. We now have complete control over the Corporation Commission which governs all business activity within the state. Our hold over the House has increased which is great after 80 some years of Democratic Party control which has helped to ensure that Oklahoma is one of the worst states of the Union to live in, and soon the state Senate will go to us as well as the governorship. Over all we did not spend carelessly, and have money to support us well for the next couple of elections.

Truthfully, I am pleased with this election except for the presidential race, but hey lets hope for a quick four years and then get on with our lives!

today is election day!

I know my GOP will do well here in Oklahoma, whether or not it does well for the rest of the country isn't much of a concern, but I would like to see McCain win even though it could go either way.

I wrote this last night, got rather frustrated over continuing to see so much of the world screaming things like ''down with great satan america' and 'burn american flags that we make in our sweatshops' so forth like that and THEN they turn around crying and running to us when something bad happens to them. well quite frankly, what if something bad was to happen to us as almost happened with the credit crisis? huh world? what then when your precious america is in danger? the one that you curse and praise alternately when it pleases you? hmmf

In this, the end of the 1st decade of the 2nd millennium,

The attacks of September 11, 2001 on the World Trade Center by Islamist terrorists and this year's presidential election are without a doubt the two most important events of this first decade. In the incredibly small time period the attacks happened, the world was transfixed, and in the time we have to cast our votes in this truly great election, the world is watching yet again. Everything else is secondary, from the invasion of Iraq to the credit and investment crisis the U.S. has just gone through. It further illustrates another point; one which is contrary to a point many believe in and hope for around this planet, a world without America or with a reduced American influence let it be through hard or soft power. Many people around the world will take the time to scoff and lay scorn upon our nation for our efforts however clumsy or even half finished they may turn out. No matter how great or exemplary our efforts may be on the world stage, there will always be someone there to protest for their most selfish reasons. In the aftermath of the World Trade Center attack; the world turned to the U.S., all eyes turned to the U.S. and what we would do. In the hours and hours of negotiating and plotting that had gone on during the credit and investment crisis we have just experienced; the world had held its breath, dreading what could happen, and what a surprise: fearful of a world with a weakened America. Fearful of a world in which America would not be there on the horizon ready to help when needed, and oh yes ready to be there when a scapegoat is needed for every other nation's skinned knee and tummy ache. It isn't enough for the world, an America largely stripped of its manufacturing base, a military several thousand soldiers shorter than what it should be, a nation under a dangerous influence of predatory and self righteous 24/7 news media. As the presidential election of 2008 comes to a close, the world watches even closer, whilst unaware of its need, and as ever unaware of the far reaching (both in time and space) implications of any successful U.S. presidential campaign. Let us see if the world learns something about the hope America brings forth in all of its endeavors beyond this election as we enter the second decade of this century very shortly.

Fearful of a world without a light to keep the darkness at bay. The existence of this nation is paramount to our world, for darkness is risked without it.

Kyle H.

To all-

No matter who wins this election, either McCain or Obama, so long as America is still able and at least willing to fight the good fight, there just might be a little bit of hope for us as a species since no other nation is capable of stepping up to the plate. I do not care how callous or "who does he think he is to say this!" this thought may seem, no joke people, I certainly do not expect China or the E.U. or some South America country to step up, ever, we're all there is. I can only hope that the record numbers coming out to vote in this election will be back again and again, and that their decisions be good.

speaking of... this was in a email:

"Now more than ever the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption."
James Garfield, "A Century of Congress" published in Atlantic, July 1877.

oh we're into style now! :O

I made a pledge on my birthday a great and almighty one too at that, tougher than a new years eve pledge!

it would be to start buying almost exclusively actual Italian handmade items, in terms of work clothes and shoes (for watches I still allow myself Wittnauer and Fossil)!

see watches? http://www.bulova.com/brands/wittnauer/wittnauer.aspx?brand=wittnauer

now the thing about this pledge, is the horrific and mind blowing nature of it... and the amount of money it takes.

butttt I am already on a roll! and have found good deals! lmfao heh heh and besides I work at a Dillards store muwahahahahhahahaha

for those who would be interested, my shoe collection has expanded by leaps and bounds. it sits at 13 dress shoes and 9 casaul shoes, I had made a shoe rack... which I think I still need to post a pic of in here, which can hold 12 shoes... I need to make another one soon! Out of those dress shoes, one of them is the first of the Italian ones I have bought (most of the rest are made in India and some I have are from China), original price was 300 but due to my discounts at Dillards I got it for 75 dollars... lmfao pic of it will come up soon also

this is how one shops...
dream car! >:D
http://cc. porsche. com/pva_new/colorConfigurator. do?userID=US&lang=us&PARAM=parameter_internet_us&ORDERTYPE=987310&option1=MB&option2=L2&option3=401&screen=1280x960

and the perfect shoe company *_*;;
http://www.bontoni.com/

i need to go back to some of my classes... been away from two of them for two weeks now

cleaning up

have started cleaning up the user info section, it needs it. shockingly enough and most delicious enough, is that myspace is trying to be like how gj.com was and how scribbld is; in that they are now allowing people to post comments on bulletins (still no direct reply back to that commentator option on the bulletins though). theyr profile pages have gotten better also, mine is entirely my own, and there is only one measely little Ad on it >:D better than many others which look like a home in which the person never cleans up and it looks horrible.

in my month away, some models have been built ^_^

also those two pics came from myspace, please do tell me if you can see them ^_^

but also i am leaving my entries on here public, need to attract people on here, more reason to be on here then rather than facebook, which is home of more drama than one can imagine right now.

"Lawton Police Department Gang Task Force members say they have identified 108 gangs within the city.

108.

"Gang members are threatening us. Informants tell me they're making threats to shoot me and other high-ranking officers. Well, here I am," said Police Chief Ronnie Smith.

Discussion of Lawton's mean streets comes following the shooting of a drug dealer by a Lawton officer last month.

On October 1st, someone fired shots at an officer's home. The officer wasn't home, but his wife and children were. Such things, said Smith, "are the acts of a coward."

A gang informant later told police that an officer would be shot and killed on October 7th. That didn't happen, but Lawton officers are on special alert and exercising extreme caution during traffic stops and responding to emergency calls, the chief said. U. S. Marshalls have joined local police in some instances.

The gang problem is pronounced in the city's black neighborhoods. Pastor Byron Elmore of Calvary Assembly of God, located in one of the city's worst gang territories, said he's heard rumors of death threats aimed at officers.

Confiscations of illegal firearms in Lawton indicate the scope of the problem, police say. In 2000, 107 illegal firearms were confiscated. In 2007, the number was 274 and this year, it already sits at 270 through the end of September."
http://wwwtmrcom.blogspot.com/

I am needing to buy that handgun soon, probably a Glock at that, getting bad looks from the wannabe gang members themselves as well. which reminds me, it goes farther than the officer who had to shot and kill the drug dealer, they're having to kill the high school gangsters who turn guns on them as well, its now SHOOT TO KILL

for the past month my life has revolved around Dillards and classes at Cameron, to the point where customers ask me if I ever go home, and they do not joke about it when they ask that. in this effort to do well in my last semester, I appear to be doing what I did in my last year of high school, cut off most sources of communication with others outside close physical friends and coworkers (during my senior year I forgot I had an email address). Currently I have only been active daily on myspace due to coworkers there and barely on facebook a couple of times a week despite being on AIM daily. oddly enough, the people I have maintained the closest contact with still out of my gj friends has been those who made the move over to myspace.

haven't even been on here for a complete month's time, no I did not forget anyone on the friends list, nor forgot about getting on here, but it fell to the wayside. zapped messages to those who cleaned their friends lists at least to show I am still alive. I may or may not keep this journal active, if I don't I will post over it, if I do then I will be posting more often which means just about a complete move away from facebook.

for all other intents and purposes communications with me can be found through myspace and facebook - Kyle Heying and aim - sambow7

posted on a bulletin at myspace after thinking about just how busy i am currently.
"looks like i have become too busy... ....

Cameron classes, Dillards, GOP stuff, CUCR stuff, L&P stuff, and everything else in between adds up to a lot of time! almost too much time. no time to hardly even write letters to the others i have kept in contact with by written mail. no time really to even date a single person. no time really to go have fun anywhere (fun in terms of what my peers around here seem to think of it). I get maybe five or six hours of sleep a day and eat maybe one full meal per day. have hardly been out of a formal suit for months at a time and will often be in it for over 13 hours a day. I have actually lost weight while in college, went from gaining weight in high school, to losing it in college.

it gets bad when a regular customer comes up to you and asks if you ever go home and doesn't even joke about it.

I want to desparately cut something off, at least two things, but I can't. Their all so fricking intricately tied together, my work, my classes, my activities outside of them, they're all damn tied together. Ruining my life at home, my connections with some friends, and more; there better be a pot of gold at the end of this damn rainbow."

Easily people forget the fact that war is never easy, and will always be heart wrenching for many, to say it should not be so is to lie to yourself and your humanity, children will suffer as well as adults, from the war front to the home front, deal with it as best you can. "In a grim marker of the longevity of the war, children who were infants or toddlers when they lost a parent in action are growing up." From that statement you would think that all wars should last only a few days and that we shoot waterguns, stupid asses, just think of the Hundred Years War, or the fact that our so called World War 1 and 2, were not infact the first world wars fought by European nations, what of the children from those? In fact it was worse for them then, we have come far since then, but we need not get too far ahead of ourselves in all of this, and we must realize that we are still human and things will still happen, and to state that the current conflict is an anomaly in terms of length of time is utter nonsense.

A few tips_
* Lets try to have some corresponding interests in the lists, say about 5 or more.
* Look at the places I haunt, don’t add me if you can't handle or if your friends can't handle it on your friends page.
* Do not be a grammar nazi or fuck off right now.
* No flammers allowed either, discussion only.
* If you do type L8ke dist!one1!, sorry but I wont add if it gives me a headache to read.
* lmao homophobia is allowed, have fun, just be wary while fighting the others over it hahaha.
* Also if you hold no support for your government, and your soldiers, do not come near me.
* Its okay to have different opinions from me and others, provided that your opinion is not seditious. I like to have people who have well positioned opinions on good ground, so long as their arguments are clear, but do make an attempt not to push yourself too hard onto someone in here.
* Should you be this under age rodent who goes about spouting crap about supposedly being 'more mature than what your age says' I wont add you, there is only room for my ego here bitch.
* I have come across here recently, people who, have this belief that if you are not knowledgable by their standards pertaining to a certain, lets say issue, place, or even a thing; then you are not to have your own opinion on the matter and that your opinion is thus, unacceptable as befitting an average human being. Such a person who believes that a person not having a direction connection with something should then have no real opinion on such a matter, will not be added.
* And this is crucial, if I befriend you, and you have one of those friends who have this bizarre idea that receiving a comment from a friend's friend is somehow wrong, I wont add you. I've added plenty of such friends and they are lucky I wont remove them right now because their friends think they are hot shit and feel that hearing from someone they don’t know is somehow below them.
* if there is anything I forgot to add, you will find out.
