wtf?
Did I seriously just see a news story about Disney suing a family for buying costumes that looked like Tigger and Eyore?
Wow.
It is totally possible that they didn't think about Disney when they bought these. Yeah they look the same, but honestly? They also look the same as a tiger and a donkey. There are people out there that don't pay attention to Winnie the Pooh. There are adults out there that don't remember that stuff.
Just the way that Disney handles things make them so despicable to me. Yeah, you're a corporation, but holy christ, not everybody is. What you need to be doing is suing the company that made the costumes, not the family that bought them.
Disney just completely makes me sick, yet I have friends that swear by it. I admit, Disney movies were a big part of my childhood, and I'll always cherish the happiness that I got from them. But hearing how "heavy handed" they've been with not only this, but a plethora of other things as well, just makes me despise them and not want to give any of my money to these corporate bullies.
I just don't see how people can know how crazy they've been and still support them -.- It boggles my mind.

Amazing
Apparently at like 4am, the National Geographic channel has something they call NatGeo Music. It is probably one of the coolest things I've seen on TV in a while, and is right up my alley.
It's basically music videos from all over the world. I've only seen 2 so far: one called 'Safari' from Mali and one that I think was called 'Hello Bonjour' from the USA.
Completely. Awesome.

Mari, I think you'd like this (come to think of it, I think you've mentioned this artist to me):
http://youtube.com/watch?v=CZx1KRMm0H0 [ Omar Sosa - Light in the Sky ]
and I'm pretty captivated by this:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pqKgdSoG4E8 [ Yungchen Lhamo - Happiness ]
Also, if this does not make you smile, you are a robot:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=EXAuBU0YYH4 [ Bibi Tanga & Le professeur Inlassable - It's The Earth That Moves ]
I also saw this and was thoroughly tripped out. They played this at nearly 5:40 am. I pity anybody that was high.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=9scb8p9P9cY [ Cornelius - Fit Song ]

An Actual Update
So lately I haven't been very active D: I've even been playing Cabal with him less. The reason? My body does this thing where it decides to hate me. Specifically, my stomach and my back.
My stomach has this thing where it'll just start aching. Not like, an inner ache like you're hungry, but this muscle-ache. And I have no idea why. Mom says it may be gas, because gas can hurt really bad sometimes, but aaaugh. Whatever it is I want it to knock it the hell off D:
My back has also been doing this thing lately (ironically, mostly when I go to start playing Cabal) where it hurts to the point that I can barely breathe. It's almost like I pulled something in the way that I can hardly move my head. Guhh. It happened again last night and just whaaat the hell.
Angerrr.
That and, yesterday I had to kind of stay up from 5am (after all two to three hours of sleep I had before that) till about...I think I napped at like 6 and woke up at 8. So I was sooo awfully tired then. I'm still kinda feeling it, even though I slept a bit last night into this morning.
( Dentist ramble )
Okay I'm rambling. Abridged version: Back hurts, stomach hurts, too stupidly tired to converse beyond "buuuhhh?", dental work.

Best. 4 hours. Ever.
So, I just spent 4 hours of my life absolutely *glued* to the television as PBS presented Puccini's Madama Butterfly, Live from the Lincoln Center.
( A long-winded rave on how in love I am with this production now )
That was truly a fantastic way to spend my morning.

Yeah
This is an update to say that I'm not even going to pretend that I don't like LazyTown. Any kid's show with a TECHNO sountrack is amazing to me (thank god for GOOD music for kids), and artistically it's freaking amazing how they balance and blur the line between what's real and what's fake. Any show that can make a person look in any way like a puppet (Robbie's character design is totally my favorite because of this, despite how adorable Stephanie is and how Sportacus can look flawless like a Ken doll) is fantastic.
Yeah. Leave it to me to find some artistic merit in something I watch at 5am when I should be sleeping like a normal person.

...uh.
There is a movie on TCM right now entitled "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies".
It is apparently a horror movie from 1963.
I don't know how to feel just now.

Jesus
Ugh, some people need to knock it the hell off with the goddamn melodrama. That was not what I needed to see upon waking up. Just because you haven't been around you're not a good friend? I take personal offense to that. I'm never around anymore at all, but that doesn't mean I'm any less of a friend.
Just...ugh. I could not be more disgusted right now.

...um.
I think I just had a religious experience.
I was watching Conan just now and Flavor Flav was on. Now, I know what you're thinking, because I was thinking it too. "Conan + Flavor Flav? Ok that's gotta be amazing."
The man came out wearing a bear hat. You heard me. A bear hat. It looked just like a real bear head.
Conan then asks what's up with the hat, and I shit you not, these were his words:
"THIS IS FOR THE BEAR THAT TRIED TO CAP ME IN THE WOODS!"
I just...I don't know where I went for the following few minutes, but I can only assume it was a spiritual plane reachable only by high doses of acid.
Wow, guys. Just...wow.

Geek love
The whole Stephen Colbert/Conan O'Brien/Jon Stewart thing has got to be a sign that somebody up there loves geeks like me.
It was so surreal seeing the 3 late night hosts that I love more than any others not only in the same room, but pulling countless shenannigans together, and ending it all with the most epic dorkfight I've ever seen.
Ohhh man. Icons of that to come. I'm still stunned from the sheer abount of awesomeness and squee and hilarity. Ouch.
