FUCKING AWESOME.
Okay, so for those of you who haven't talked to me yet, I have yet to share my WONDERFUL FREAKING DEAD HARDDRIVE ADVENTURE.

Okay, so I got up yesterday morning, turned on my computer and my computer is like LULZ NO HARDDRIVE.

Fantastic. Just amazing.

I take it to my dad to have him look at it, and he kind of flips out on me, and I get a lecture about taking care of my computer. :\ I try my best to take care of it, but apparently I've done something to ruin the hard drive. The goddamn thing is fried.

Long story short, my mother and father drive up to Circuit City and buy a new hard drive for my computer. I now owe my father $110. :\ Money that I don't really have at the moment, especially when I need to buy books, a parking pass, and pay off the rest of my tution because the government sucks and wound up not coving about $100 of it. :| I would have had money from my last paycheck, but all of that went towards school supplies, and ironically, a bookbag with a laptop carrying compartment.

Fucking sweet.

Thankfully, since I had an external harddrive about 90% of my files were saved, including all my music. I managed to find most of the programs I used to use, but all my brushes, patterns and fonts were lost as far as GIMP is concerned. :\ Oh well, I suppose that's what Deviant Art is for?

About the only upside to this is that my laptop now has 300GB of storage as opposed to the 60 I used to have. X.x;

What a wonderful present on the day before my birthday. Just fucking epic, right?

Ugh.
